Clay's voice seemed to echo through the entire continent, such was the strength behind his shout. His heart got filled with the excitement and adrenaline of the battle once he saw that he had a slight chance of winning against those ambassadors.
Clay had been holding back his true power for a while now because he knew that his growth was quite unnatural. His body has been just adapting its own power and physical strength to the dangers that he needed to go through every day. It included fighting against powerful ambassadors, walking across lands with the cruelest environments, and hunting Dreads of the fourth generation and forth.
Since his body was evolving in such a forceful and unnatural way, Clay knew that unleashing his full power was going to be harmful to him in a permanent way. His "Willpower" was growing faster than the other aspects of his body could follow. At the same time as he was way more powerful than two years ago, he was overwhelmed by that power as well.
