Clay was preparing himself to go away already. He had used a considerable quantity of "Willpower", so staying at the same place wasn't the best option.
'Thankfully, I could intercept them in a location that is reasonably far away from our place. If they approached too much, our fight would surely attract Dreads to the camp. Probably some of them will show up here, but that's not a problem at all. I am confident that they won't be able to find us.'
Clay was relieved that he was quick in solving that problem without getting more harmed.
'I can't spend "Willpower" in my injuries at all... If I don't have energy enough to fight against several ambassadors or a pack of Dreads, we will be as good as dead. Susan still can't control her power completely, which is dangerous because she can not only hurt me but herself if she tries to use it forcefully.'
