Forcing his legs to their limits, he continued to run forward. His body was feeling all the pain and exhaustion that it once had. "Chaos" was losing its effects on him slowly.
That was the greater disadvantage of that power. Contrary to "Willpower", "Chaos" didn't necessarily heal Dean's wounds, but rather made a shallow cure on them that would remain until he still enhanced his body with that energy. When the energy was gone, all the harm would be back.
"Chaos" also numbed the pain and exhaustion of his body, which helped a lot, but had the same limitations as its healing.
It was still a defective power. Dean didn't have much time to work on it and develop all the potential that it had, though "Chaos" still helped him a lot in his battles.
