A ball of fire and magma came piercing through the skies at a high speed, leaving a trail of flames and dust behind. It passed very near a construction, then scratched the roof of another one, but never touched them. The sound of its fall was echoing through that place. The flames accumulated on its structure were throbbing to be released, it could explode at any time.
The fireball made all the way diagonally until its target. It fell on the perfect angle. It was going to hit the nail on the head.
However, just when it was about to strike the main target, a sword interposed in the way, cutting through its structure and splitting the fireball in two. The slash was fast and precise. The person was running as fastly as the fireball came.
That fireball exploded some seconds after being split in half. Not even that explosion was capable to reach the target, though, as he was too fast.
Nevertheless, that single fireball was far from being the last.
