"Haha... I thought that you found gross skinship with other men."
Elise denied with her head.
"No. I still think this way. But you are just an old man, there is nothing wrong with it," she explained in a choked voice. "And I didn't want you to see me crying and this is the fastest way to hide my face from you."
"That's the worst excuse that I ever heard before, you know?"
"Don't get me wrong. I won't do anything with a man, particularly an old man like you."
Rick giggled, though it was a sad giggle.
"Well, I can't go to bed with any other woman anymore. After my wife died, I just can't do it anymore... You get me, right?"
Elise chuckled.
"You, indeed, are an old man."
Rick nodded his head, wrapping his arms around her as well, giving back the hug.
"Are you really that regretful about how you have been living, Rick?"
