Dean's sword stopped midway before it caught Law. He knew that he must end that battle once and for all, Law shouldn't keep walking on earth, not when he knew everything about Dean and had plans to capture him. Nonetheless, Dean's mind wasn't in that crazy rush to kill anymore. His animalistic instincts were overlapped by his emotions. In a single moment of rationality, he realized the huge mistake that he committed.
The boy turned on his heels to look at Emily and see if she was ok. Deep inside, he still hoped that nothing bad happened, that Law didn't hit the target. However, when looking at the scene in front of him, there was no way that the assassin could have had miss Emily.
"No...", he muttered, nearly falling on his knees for a moment, but propelling his body upward again and running towards the place where Emily was before.
