'What the hell are those people doing inside our refuge? Are they trying to find somewhere to stay during the tempest or something? However, if they were so desperate, would they really discover our secret passage in the base of the mountain? Someone needs to search carefully to find it, after all...'
The dense fog created by the tempest wasn't helping him to discern their figures properly. The fog was getting denser each second more, so he wasn't sure about how they looked like and it worsened as time passed.
'The rain is still heavy as hell. I don't want to go out there just to see what's going on. The winds are so strong that I fear to get blown out of the mountain. However, these people are very strange. I cannot say for sure whether they have good intentions or not.'
Claus looked to the sides, seeing the other houses around. Even inside the fog, he could see the figures of his fellow refugees opening slightly their doors and windows, looking at the entrance gates.
