Dean felt that a different energy had appeared in the environment. Something seemed out of the usual. At first, he thought that it could potentially be another Dread, but that kind of energy was unmistakable.
'There is another Ascendant here, just as I thought. Where is he?' Dean looked to the side and saw a male running faster than anyone else towards the beast that was being slaughtered without having the chance to attack one of the refugees, though their attacks weren't devastating at all. Without "Willpower", they didn't have the strength to give a fatal blow.
That guy, however, was different from the others. Even the look in his eyes was different. He exuded confidence and held his heavy and worn-out sword as if he did it all the time.
