Rick's group got astonished once they saw what just happened.
Crow's own subordinates shoot several arrows at him as if it was the most normal thing in the world. They didn't even flinch when doing so, there was no hesitation or remorse behind their actions.
"Pain Absorption...", he chanted slowly.
Once Rick heard that, he knew that it wouldn't be any good to stay where they were.
"Everyone! Back away right now, he is preparing something!"
Rick loosened his chain from Crow's arm and leaped backward while attaching it to Kevin's body, pulling him to his side. Clay could free himself from his grip and did the same. Hector was in a good distance already and just waited anxiously for what would happen.
Just as Rick supposed, Crow began to do something. His body was surrounded by "Willpower", indicating that he executed a strong spell. The energy in the air was nearly palpable, such was its density and intensity.
