One month was finally completed since the group arrived at the laboratory and began the experiments on Paul...
"Rick!" A familiar voice invaded Rick's mind when he was about to fall asleep.
'Damn it! I nearly fell asleep... Good thing that someone called me...', he sighed in relief but didn't have the time to enjoy his victorious moment. He noticed that something was off place. Nobody would call him with such intensity for nothing at all.
Rick jumped out of his bed. He took his longsword and chain with him, running out of his bedroom and looking at both left and right sides of the corridor. There wasn't someone in the corridor, though.
'Someone called me really loudly... They are probably on the upper floors of this complex. I must reach them as fast as possible.'
Rick reinforced his legs with "Willpower" and ran at full speed towards the stairs that would lead to the next floor.
