Another week went by, faster than anyone could ever imagine. The days passed really quickly... but not for a specific person, someone who was living the most torturous days of his life. For him, each second was worst than a year of suffering, walking on top of hot coals and receiving lashes nonstop.
Rick destroyed his mind during all the time that he spent with him. However, those days were shattering his very soul. He was feeling like all the parts that remained from his essence, from his being, were vanishing bit by bit.
Paul didn't have tears to cry anymore, he didn't have the strength to scream as loud as he wanted to, he didn't have the disposition to eat nor to breath. His heart couldn't bear the sadness anymore, his mind couldn't take the pain, his body was so exhausted that any strain didn't matter anymore.
It had been just two weeks since he arrived at the laboratory, but those two weeks showed to be the worst weeks of his entire life.
