"Now, I can understand your actions, Rick...", Hector said after Rick finished his story. He was still a bit shocked about Rick's tough past. He didn't imagine that there were so many things over the shoulders of that man.
"There are things that only I can do, Hector. I am prepared to sacrifice my life for the sake of my revenge, but also because I learned how to... how to have empathy with humanity after some time. I know that I torture and kill people too lightly, and it may seem hypocritical of me to be saying something of the sort at this point, but that's how I feel. I know the terror of Dreads just as much as the terror of humans. I lived on the two sides of this enormous wall. I decided that more than just taking revenge, there is something else I can do: end humanity's suffering."
