After he recovered from his injuries, Rick decided to leave that place and go somewhere else, a place where he wouldn't have nightmares every day, nor think about his family all the time.
He didn't get the chance to bury the corpse of his daughter, nor to look at her face for the last time. The Ambassadors took her body with them for some reason. Rick was private even from that right.
As the days passed, Rick's ambition and greed began to grow stronger than ever before. His desire to pursue power reached its peak as the months passed by.
However, he kept just wandering on those lands, walking towards somewhere that he himself didn't know where it was.
He passed by a lot of different refuges in the way. Always when he found himself in a new refuge, he would interview lots of people, asking what they knew about "Chaos" and "Willpower", and particularly an energy called "Sinful Flames".
