"Susie!" Rick turned to his daughter while kneeling on the ground and opening his arms to receive her in his embrace.
The little girl jumped in his arms and hugged him tightly. Her arms were wrapped around his neck, and her squeeze suffocated Rick for a while.
The man chuckled as if he just heard the funniest joke of the year. His cute daughter also giggled on his hear as she squeezed more and more tightly until Rick tapped her two times on the back.
"Ok, ok," he said with a choked voice, "you are going to kill me like this, little girl..."
She let go of him, taking a step back and looking directly into his eyes with a cute smile on her face.
"You are getting stronger every day, huh?" he complained as he rubbed his neck. "I thought that, if I ever would say something like this, it was going to be to my son, not my daughter..."
People around laughed once they heard that.
Instead of getting angry at him or ashamed, the little girl's grin widened more.
