With resolute eyes, Dean walked through those tunnels that he was more familiar with by that time. After walking on that cave for so long, he could memorize where to go to reach determined spots in that place.
It was still very tricky to walk around there. Also, that cave seemed to have life and expand every day. New tunnels and opened spaces that he never saw before appeared all of a sudden in places that he was sure that he passed by before.
There were locations where he couldn't find anymore, even though Dean struggled to find them and went through the right path.
He didn't know if the cave's formation and everyday transformation were due to "Chaos", or if there was Dread that did it to that place. Maybe his mind was playing tricks on him because of how much time he spent walking there, always seeing the same greyish or black tone of the walls. That environment was very confusing.
