A step sounded on the battlefield. A step that should have been soothed by the snow. A noise that shouldn't echo at all, that shouldn't overlap the sounds of battle in the background.
However, it did. Somehow it did.
Maybe, nobody really heard that step, nobody ever noticed the figure approaching the war; but they knew he was coming. All of them could feel that something was amiss. They could feel it. Everyone felt.
Some identified him as an ally. Others as an enemy. It was immediate, as if someone had abruptly put that idea on their mind.
When they thought that it could be just a delusion, something out of that world, their eyes moved across the battlefield. Soon, everyone was looking at him. Some with joy, others with wrath. Some with excitement, others with fear.
"I see... So he did come, huh? I was starting to get afraid that it wouldn't happen," Perseus said to himself.
