"Hmm... What would a powerful person like her do in a refuge like this? I wonder..." Paul thought as he looked at a poor refuge located in the north of Saphyr. It was near the wastelands, but not near enough to be dangerous like that place.
From the walls of a refuge, one could tell whether it was poor or rich. That one definitely was poor. Very poor. People started to call those refuges "bomb refuges" because they could "explode" and crumble down at any moment.
'Refuges like this one here run out of people quickly. After each raid of Dreads, they lose a huge chunk of their population. With no population, there aren't enough workers to take care of the farms, go find water and food, or protect the refuge when it is needed. In the end, these refuges are bound to end overtime at a much faster pace than normal ones. It's really sad.'
