"Hey, Chloe..."
"Shut up," Chloe said in response to Claire's call, though she wanted to open her eyes and hear attentively the little girl. Nonetheless, she couldn't act too softly with her. Any gesture of kindness could create strong bonds as a consequence. The least Chloe wanted was for Claire to create these bonds with her. She wanted to take care of the little girl, but preferred to do so while being hated rather than loved.
"I am sorry... I just wanted to make a question," Claire muttered with a teary voice.
"Yes. But you ought me a favor in the Red Room."
"Again?"
"Yes, again," she lied. If she was to count everything, Claire would have one thousand favors to pay to her. Those favors were never once paid. Indeed, while inside the Red Room, Chloe always did many things so Claire would ought her even more favors.
Indeed, those favors would never be paid, and Chloe would never ask her to do so. However, it was important to hide her true intentions as much as possible.
