Dean and Claire had killed three out of six Great Flying Worms already. They surely were doing it at a good pace considering the harsh circumstances that they were in. The biggest problem there, though, was the reaction of the three last worms that they were yet to kill.
Both had stopped to slide down the mountain. They probably covered more than sixty percent of the way already. It may seem like a good progression but there was still a long distance to cover, and they would need to do it while escaping from three huge enemies and slaying them in the way.
"There couldn't be worst time to appear Dreads of this type here, right?" Dean commented as he walked near Claire after she went down the pile of worms that she made herself.
"Yeah... It's a hassle to kill them. We need to take high risks just to knock them out," she said, apparently feeling pain somewhere.
