"What? Why did you stop to talk? Are you...", when Ryan shifted his attention from the woman that he was staring at, he looked at Matthew again and noticed that he wasn't beside him anymore.
Ryan looked over his shoulder, seeing that his friend got paralyzed in the same place and was gazing at the entrance of the refuge with awe.
"What happened to yo-" he stopped midway in his phrase, finally connecting the points.
'Damn it... I was too absorbed about looking at that beauty passing by us and didn't realize that...', Ryan moved his eyes towards the entrance and saw what he feared the most to see: a group of people dressed in white entering the refuge.
"Are they our enemies?" he muttered to Matthew as he hastily approached him. "What are they doing here!? How could they discover where Paul was?"
