One night after Dean's encounter with Paul, he and Claire needed to go on a mission together. Since they were mercenaries, they couldn't take days off, particularly because both had their own ambitions and needed a lot of money to accomplish them.
On that night, Claire noticed that Silver was different from his usual self. The young mercenary usually was relentless, precise, and magnificent when fighting. She never saw another person as skillful as him while using the sword; however, on that mission, he seemed to be slower, more distracted, more distant...
"Silver!" she shouted while jumping across the roofs of the houses of the refuge. Even though she was running at an abnormal speed, her steps didn't make any sound, only her voice could be heard echoing in that place.
Dean was pursuing someone, but on the streets. He was holding Excalibur while doing so. Nonetheless, there was something strange with him. He didn't seem to be paying attention to his surroundings.
