BANG!
The gunshot echoed in Lillian's ears. Her vision was blurring while the world around her seemed to be spinning at a fast pace. She stumbled forward, almost falling to the ground.
"Lady Boss!" Gab cried and held her but Lillian was trying her best to stay steady. They had just arrived at the spot where Lucas was going to meet the investors and were almost at the fifth floor when they heard the gunshot resonating all the way down towards them.
"Shit!" Gab cursed. He completely forgot about Lillian's fear of guns. In fact, Lillian had deliberately ignored to remind him of that. She must be desperate to find Boss, Gab realized.
"Lady Boss…"
Lillian held her head, trying to stop herself from fainting. Her vision was fading in and out while strange images were playing in her mind.
