Calohun stood, facing the prison wall, his back turned to the wall, with his hands behind his back. The human lady who summoned him was to serve him for hundred days and if he his satisfied with her service, he will bless her with riches, but she locked him up in a cage. How dare she even summon a goblin king, how dare she, he thought and clenched his hands. His sharp ears caught faint sound of footsteps and he closed his eyes. "She his here" he muttered to himself and his face curled up into a devilish smile. The footsteps grew closer and closer and stopped in front of his cell, he could feel her presence and her scent filled his nose. Slowly, he turned around and his face Locked into hers. Her beautiful small lips was painted red, her long curly black hair was neatly combed to the back, her hazel eyes gazing intensely into his deep blue eyes and she gulped down her spit.
"Hello mister" Eliza said but he didn't reply and she cursed under her breath, she shouldn't have greeted him, she thought. " I am here to bail you" she said and he still didn't say anything. And for some seconds, she wondered if he had turned deaf. "Mister can you hear me?" she asked and he still didn't say anything.
"mister mister" she said and he still didn't reply and she gave up and went to Meet James.
"He doesn't talk?" she asked, confused
'he does"
"that's strange" she said and shook her head
"are you sure he hasn't turn deaf?" she asked
"maybe" he said and picked up a bunch of key from his table and headed towards Calohun cell. "am only releasing him because you asked me to" he said and opened the iron cage and Calohun walked out with his hands behind his back.
"Thank you" she said and looked up at the strange man, who stood boldly with his hands behind his back and scoffed. "Thank you James I will take care of it from here"
"what are your plans ?"
"don't bother yourself"
"I don't think releasing him is a good idea" James said, worried
"don't worry, I will be fine"
"okay then, what are you going to do with him, he doesn't have a family"
"bye James, stop bothering yourself"
"bye" he replied and she left the station with Calohun
Outside the station, she stared at the strange man standing beside her, with his hands still at his back. "you must be a man of great ego?" she teased
"I am a king" he said and she smiled. Nodding her head she said. "Everyone wishes to be a king, I hope your dreams come true, it is a good thing to dream.
"Who says am dreaming, I am the goblin king" he said
"what!, ah I understand, I completely forgot that you aren't perfectly sane"
"I am" he argued
"okay okay, where do you stay?" she asked and wave down a cab." tell me so I can have the cab man drop you there, I will also give you some money for your upkeep, I released you because I felt you weren't trying to steal from me" she said and deeped her hand inside her hand bag and brought out her purse. "And also, change your clothes and cut your hair, you shouldn't go around like this people might think you are mad, whereas you are not completely mad, you are just a bit mad, am I right" she said and he still didn't say anything. "tell the me where you stay I have to go home" she urged and opened her purse and before she could bring out money
"your home is my home" he said.
