Zalina blinked slowly, she felt her head hurt. Her eyes started to focus on her surroundings, and she gasped when she saw Arista standing and smiling beside her.
"I left my children with you," she said. Zalina furrowed her brow in disbelief.
"What are you saying, Sister?" she whispered softly. The nurse who was changing the IV fluid flinched at Zalina's soft voice. She immediately called the doctor. Not long after, the doctor came to check Zalina's condition.
"Mrs. Arista, can you see me?" Zalina frowned, why did the doctor call her Arista. Wasn't Arista standing beside her bed? However, no one seemed to notice Arista's presence. Not long after, there was a rush of footsteps. The bedroom door opened. And, Zalina recognized the three new arrivals. Damian, Aruga and Arasy. Damian immediately approached Zalina.
"Honey, are you awake? How do you feel now?" Damian asked while stroking her hair. However, Zalina immediately glared at Damian,
"Go, don't touch!" Zalina rebuked Damian. At first glance, Zalina turned to Arista who was standing crying. Zalina's emotions were instantly ignited, her eyes narrowed and glared at Damian and Aruga. "You, you and you too Aruga, get out! Get out right now!" Zalina rebuked again.
"Ris, I am your husband. You kicked me out? Okay, I know I was wrong. But, why did you kick Aruga too?" asked Damian.
"Didn't you hear what I said?! If anyone can sit here with you only Arasy. You both, GET OUT!!"
Arasy turned to Damian and Aruga, "Come out first, let me accompany Riris. Tell your children and in-laws, Damian," said Arasy. Both men rushed out. After seeing both men she hated so much out, Zalina seemed much calmer. One thing she realized was that she was currently in Arista's body.
"You and my sister Zalina had an accident, Ris. And, you tbothhad..."
"You mean? Then, Zalina?"
"Zalina is still in a coma. She suffered internal injuries from a very strong impact. So are you. You've had surgery, and even your heartbeat has stopped." Zalina was silent, she glanced at Arista.
"Please ask where the children are," said Arista.
"Where are my children?" asked Zalina. Arasy smiled,
"You really are. You just survived death, Ris. Can you think about your health first? Your leg is broken, you are injured deeply. And, you are already unconscious. to kick out your husband as well as mine." Zalina just snorted loudly. If only Arasy knew what her husband was doing.
"The children are with your parents. You and Zalina have only been hospitalized for two days. That too is at the request of Brother Denny and your mother of course. Zalina was silent, she remembered that Herawati, Arista's mam was a doctor. Zalina remembers when she was a child, Arista's family often helped her and also Arsy. That's why, Zalina already considers Arista like her own sister. Not long after, Herawati appeared behind the door. Calmly the woman who still looks beautiful at her young age approached the bed where Zalina was lying.
"How do you feel now, Ris?" asked Herawati.
"I'm fine, ma'am."
"Mam? Since when did you call your mother by ma'am?" Herawati frowned.
"What do you remember before the accident?" asked Herawati.
"Don't tell me about Damian's affair," whispered Arista. However, Zalina doesn't seem to hear Arista's words.
"Damian cheated on a woman. And, that woman was pregnant. That's why I, thoughtlessly, couldn't control my emotions."
"Damian cheating?"
"Just ask the guy. But, it's okay mom. If he really wants to marry that woman, I don't mind. As long as he follows all my requirements.."
Arista flinched for a moment. "What are you going to do, Zalina?!" she shouted. Of course, Zalina didn't answer. She didn't want Herawati and Arasy to be confused to see her talking to something they couldn't see, right.
"Damian hasn't said anything yet. But Mommy knows something is going on. Let Mommy talk to your Papa," said Herawati. Zalina shook her head,
"Mommy, this is my household, and I will take care of everything. I told this to Mami, to ask for support. But, I don't want you and Papa to interfere this time. I will take care of it." Herawati looked at each other with Arasy. It's like seeing other people. Arista is a very gentle woman, and Herawati knows it. Since childhood, Arista has always succumbed to anyone. Even if she is oppressed, she will just keep quiet and turn her attention to other things. That is why, Herawati sometimes feels worried even though Arista has become a mother of 3 children who are growing up.
"Why do you look like Zalina," said Arasy. Herawati just smiled hearing Arasy's words.
"I will be very happy if your best friend can be a little strict like Zalina, Chy." . Meanwhile Arista just shook her head. She didn't know what Zalina was thinking and planning.
"I want to meet the children, Mommy," said Zaliana, glancing at Arista.
"Mommy will call Dyah so she can take the kids this afternoon. Is there anything else you need, princess?" asked Herawati.
"I don't want to meet Damian, Aruga and my mother-in-law here. If I'm fully recovered, I will return home. However, before I'm completely healthy, I only want to meet my family and children. Only Arasy who can visit me." Herawati took a deep breath.
"Okay, I will tell your husband what you want. Now, you have to rest. Go to sleep, this afternoon when the kids come, Mami will bring them here."
"Where are you going?" asked Arasy.
"I still have an hour of surgery scheduled. Don't you bother if you have to be here, Chy? How about the Ratu and Raja?"
"Raja and Ratu are with Mother. And she doesn't mind taking care of ers two grandchildren. Besides, I have to monitor Zalina's progress." Herawati nodded.
"Be patient, okay. Everything will be fine. Today Arista woke up. Maybe, Zalina will wake up from her coma tomorrow."
"Thank you mom."
"Mommy goes first, okay?" Zalina nodded.
"Riss, are you okay?" askedArasy.
"It's better that you go home now. Zalina is still under the doctor's supervision right? Take Aruga home with you. Take Damian out of here, too. I want to rest. Your children also need you." Arasy took a deep breath.
"Okay, you rest, okay. Tomorrow afternoon I will visit you again," said Arasy.
