Chapter 8 - PROSTITUTE

Arista returned home feeling much more relieved. Every time she talks to her mother she feels like a battery that has just been recharged. But when she opened the gate she frowned because Damian's car was in the yard and there was another car she didn't recognize at all. Arista rushed in, and she saw Mira serving drinks for Damian and a friend.

"Wow, the hostess has just returned. I thought, Mira is your sister, Ris. She's so beautiful, and doesn't look like a housekeeper."

Arista just grimaced and chuckled at Aruga's words.

Aruga is one of her husband's confidants. "It's a new car, Ga. The bonus that Damian gave is much, it seems," joked Arista as she approached the both men and sat beside Damian. Damian just smiled and gently embraced his wife's shoulder. Then pressing his lips briefly to Arista's lips made Aruga clear his throat for a moment.

"Hahaha ... if you want to make out better in the room. Don't make me jealous," he muttered.

"You can go home and make out with your wife Throne. Ah, she hasn't been to school for a long time to pick up Raja and Ratu."

"She's been busy with her bakery lately. You know before the holidays, her bakery always has a lot of orders. Oh, by the way, can I take Mira for a walk sometime on the weekends?" asked Aruga. Arista pursed her lips, "Don't play with fire, it will be difficult if it burns later," said Arista.

"I just wanted to have a little fun."

"Ah, if Throne was walking with another man would you like it?" said Arista. Damian chuckled, "He's just playing, honey. After all, a man is like a car. You can park anywhere. The important thing is that you have one garage."

Arista just pursed her lips, "Fighting you two just gives me a headache."

"The important thing for women is money , money is enough. Everything is enough, it's up to the husbands what they want. What is clear is that they are still going home," said Aruga. Arista didn't answer. She immediately stood up and walked inside.

"Come on, I'm going to the kitchen. Dom asked me to make his favorite strawberry cheesecake."

Arista left slightly annoyed. Arriving in the kitchen, she saw Mira smiling to herself while feeding the fish in the pond.

"Why are you smiling at yourself like that?! Don't flirt with Aruga, he already has a wife and children. So don't try to flirt."

Mira gasped for a moment, the smile on her face fading. She felt caught by Arista.

"Uh, Mom's home. Sorry, I didn't hear you. What are you going to do? Can I help you?"

Arista exhaled while glaring in annoyance.

"What are the kids doing?"

"Young Master Dominic is doing his schoolwork. Young Lady Elena and Calista are going out with Mrs. Deswita."

Arista was silent, her mother-in-law was insistent on picking up the children from school because she would bring them to Karla's place. Meanwhile, Dominic did not go to school today because there was a teacher's meeting. That was why she was able to have lunch alone with her mother.

Arista brings out the ingredients to make Dominic's favorite strawberry cheesecake. This strawberry cheesecake must be left overnight, because Dominic wants to bring this snack as a lunch, so Arista must prepare it from now on, so that this snack will be ready in the morning.

Arista doesn't allow Mira to help her at all. She is still annoyed with Mira's behavior which she values flirtatious with Aruga. Arista knows Arsy well, not only because they are schoolmates, but Arista knows very well how Arsy's life was when she was little.

"Are you mad at me?" Mira ventured to ask. Arista, who was finishing the garnishes, immediately turned to Mira.

"Do you think I'm angry or not?" Arista squinted and glared at Mira. Arista's gaze made the girl a little awkward.

"Erm...I..."

Arista paused her work for a moment. She turned her body and looked straight at Mira who was standing awkwardly and awkwardly in front of her.

"Aruga is Damian's best friend and confidant. And his wife, Arasy, has been my best friend since high school. Until now, we are still friends. In fact, when they got married Damian and I accompanied them both. Their children are school friends with Elena and Also Calista. So, if you were in my position, would you be happy if a girl deliberately stole glances at your best friend's husband? I know you're not an ordinary housekeeper, you even went to college, right? But, you should have an education. your height makes you act a little elegant and not cheap. You could have gone to college. But, in this house your job is nothing more than a housekeeper. Not a temptress of people's husbands. This is the first and last time I admonish you. Once again you spread charm on Aruga or any married man. You heard that, didn't you?" Arista said. Mira nodded, "I heard, ma'am," Mira answered without daring to look at Arista's face.

"Now, please go to the mini market in front of the complex. Ask Ujang to take you. Please buy what I have written down. Don't take too long."

Arista handed over some bills and paper containing a list of groceries that Mira had to buy.
