The surrounding space in that place was completely white, and the center of it was something that looked like a floating island. If you've seen Ghibli movies... you'd no doubt compare it to Laputa. A sort of flying castle.
Unfortunately, however, that was not the case, this island in the vast void was nothing but Asora. Originally it was an accidental ability, combining a huge amount of magical power with the skill of illusion of a dragon-god in a separate dimension.
But now it was an ability and a personal pocket dimension of a certain "protagonist" Alexander...
"First I should take a good look at what the boundaries of Asora are and set up my sanctuary.
No, really, I can take care of the system now, but I need to take care of a roof over my head and food first, I'm already cold and hungry.
Like I said, I checked every inch of this place. I don't know what these trees are called, but I had seen them many times, and not only them, all the other plants and mushrooms were from what existed in my hometown.
After looking around, I roughly estimated the diameter of Asora to be 50 meters. All around, however, was a solid white void.
About half an hour had passed since I woke up, and about 25 minutes had passed since I had expended 7% of my energy. And by this point the energy had already been fully restored.
After some calculations in my mind, I spent 85% of my energy creating a house that looked like one of the ones I had seen in my last life.
*I looked at the result and was very pleased with myself. The result was a simple house with two bedrooms, a dining room and kitchen, a living room, a bathroom, and a door. I went into one of the rooms, created a clock and hung it on the wall.
Then I quickly created a bed and lay down to rest for a while. I was already starting to feel dizzy when the amount of energy dropped to 9%. So I realized that if it drops below 10%, it starts to affect my physical condition. So I lay there looking at the time, waiting.
Thirty minutes went by, and I realized that the energy was now 59%. That is, in thirty minutes I had recovered half of my reserves.
This fact excited me greatly, because it was very fast. Apparently, this very "nothing" producing energy was everywhere in huge quantities. In fact, it's quite confusing.
It's either a force of the universe or something like that. Such abstract concepts are a real pain in the ass.
After creating the freezer, I started creating the meat and other foods to fill it, then the cooking tools, pots, plates and cutlery, the gas stove and the gas tank for it, and so on. And then I created a pizza to snack on, so hungry I was. After that I only had 12% energy left again.
I went back to bed and quietly waited until my energy was fully restored to work on building the system.
This is the dream of any novella reader. I knew that this system would not have its own personality, but rather a simple system with basic functions such as analyzing, processing, and executing commands. But that was the kind of system I wanted, not something with a humanity and a story of its own, as the "protagonists" usually imposed.
Thinking about this, I closed my eyes and dozed off in that eerily quiet place...
A while later, I got up and headed to the creek in front of the house to wash my face.
"Now let's do it!" I said to myself, slapped my palms on my cheeks and sat down on the grass. Imagination, most importantly imagination, now a couple of finishing touches and it's done. Simple, but ready. Now to apply the energy... There you go...
*Woosh! * There was a strange sound I was already familiar with, and I looked at the little white ball floating in front of me. Since I had created it, I knew exactly what to do with it.
Taking the ball in my hand, I pressed it to my forehead, it went easily into my head. I waited a while and, getting creepily excited, and I said: "Status!"
