[Island of Bones, Dwarven Mountains Underground Level 5, City of Steel]
Lewis' party had reached the City of Steel, located in the heart of the Dwarven Mountains. The City of Steel was the hidden treasure of the ressource site. The dragon beer they brewed certainly was valuable to body refinement acolytes and even regular acolytes as they raised physical attributes.
However, the true value of the City of Steel lied in the immense craftsmanship that dwarven blacksmiths possessed. Though their legacy was partially forgotten, the City of Steel was an impregnable fortress with hundreds of intermediate rank golems surrounding its walls.
Bound by a rule that made them stronger yet limited to defense, the golems were a kind reminder that the founder of the City of Steel was a powerful golem master. Although Lord Ignis had never been able to walk this path, he possessed his fair share of skills as well, pursuing the path of elemental blacksmith, capable of crafting extremely valuable pieces of equipment.
In Lewis' previous life, the collaboration with Lord Ignis allowed his clansmen to possess superior equipment in battle and become home to the strongest body refinement acolytes in the Magical Court.
If only they possessed a powerful enchanter, then the clan would not have struggled so much against the Silver Union, who eyed this ressource site.
In the past, the war with the Blue Wolf Mercenary had happened much later in the timeline, but at the same time, it was much more difficult to fight against them. After all, half of the Blue Wolf Mercenary troops were not in the Island of Bones, some of them being scattered accross the continent, others unwilling to fight. Not enough time had passed without a resource site and the frustration had not been built up enough.
It was funny to think that a single anomaly, Lewis' reincarnation, had shifted the course of history in the Magical Court so much. And it was just the beginning.
Not being a dwarf, neither Lewis nor his party were allowed inside. The doors opened, revealing part of the steel-based architecture of the magnificent dwarven city. Behind the walls, terrifying weapons that could probably slay giants could be seen. Harpoons that seemed to weigh several tons were directed at them. The powerful legacy left behind the founder of the city of steel truly was immune to the passing of time.
A couple of smaller golems delivered alloys in crates, which Raon hurried to carry with his own clay golem, in awe of the powerful steel golems agility and strength despite their smaller frame.
Without a word, the huge iron doors from the city of steel closed again.
The daily exchange had been conducted without a mishap, and their mission here was almost completed. They only needed to deliver it back to the crimson castle.

From a distance, Vanessa Ryneflower relied on her strange eyes to pierce through the darkness of the underground.
"What do you see?", Ice countess sheila asked in a dangerous tone
"They have walked into our trap. Let's prepare for the ambush", she merely answered, the dangerous glint in her eyes still going unnocited by her peers
Party leader Edwin, whose lost arm had been replaced by a steel construct, showed excitement: "Let's show those crimson clan bastards what we are made of"
