In a crowded hallway where students would often talk to each other. I stumbled upon walking into it. Few people laughed, some gossip, and a couple of people babbled. Tried not to hear their useless chatter and focused on walking to my classroom.
As I entered the room I was greeted by the jolly Eunice. Eunice was one of the darlings of the school, she was in the top 10 before and now in the top 5 on our grade level, she's also kind, jolly, and center of all attention because of this she has numerous suitors under her belt.
"Good morning Sav! How's your day?" smiling brightly at me.
"Great… I guess?"
"Oh! By the way, let's go home together later! I have something to buy for auntie later for her birthday. Let's pick some chocolate cake from the bakeshop near home! Auntie loves the bread there, or maybe-"
While she kept talking I walked over to my seat and placed my stuff on the side of the table and continued to listen to her nonsense.
"Chocolate ice cream! Auntie loves ice cream! Or-"
*Ding Dong Dong Ding*
"Will talk later." and she waved goodbye.
As the bell rings the teacher has come in and we greeted him. Eunice runs to her seat and talks to her seatmate. Meanwhile, I move my viewing point to my front and I can see from the stare of some of our classmates. I guess if those glares could kill I'll be dead by now but I don't mind them at all. I'm kinda used to it.
After the first subject was physical education, we all headed to the dressing room and most of the girls were just talking about some girly stuff (including Eunice)while I began to wear my pe uniform, the uniform was baggy and the pants too, it did not fit me well. I look like a hanger with clothes on, but I don't mind what I wear.
I get out of the dressing room and head to the gymnasium. We waited for a little until the girls arrived. Some of the girl's uniforms were fitted, very fitted to say the least. Some rolled up their sleeves and pants, and some showed their curves. (thus include Eunice)
"Ahh! Look at Eunice, still gorgeous than ever!" and few men nodded.
*Priiirrrr* from the whistle of the teacher.
He gave us a few instructions and we did warm-up exercises. After that, the teacher instructed us to do 5 laps of jogging. Some complaint and some challenge each other.
As we jog through the 3 laps I can see a few girls complaining and fanning themselves, some stopped and took a little break.
I saw Eunice pathing from exhaustion, a couple of boys gave her some water and she gladly accepted it then more boys gave her water. I continued to jog and not look back at them.
As I finish my 5 laps I feel a little fatigue, my breathing pattern is irregular. I did some cool-down exercises and relaxed a little then I completely calmed down. I sat on the nearby bench and drank some water.
After a couple of minutes, everyone was done. The teacher then announced the time of fastest to slowest, which does not have any grade but this can be viewed as a tip and to see if we are physically active or not.
Eunice was in 10th place(the average) while I was in 5th place. Since we were young Eunice does not like doing physical sports but she still manages to do so. After the pe subject, we change our clothes and go back to our room.
Our next subject was history, everyone was tired from both subjects earlier this morning and few people fell asleep and some were staring at the board lifelessly and a couple knocked out chicken heads.
After the last bell rang, all of us wanted to go home and sleep. I drag my fatigued body out of the room, suddenly some hand touches my wrist and when I look back I see Eunice.
Some of her friends invited her to go to the mall but she excused herself because of me. I can see the glance of the girls looking at me like a madman. They looked back at Eunice and bid goodbye. After Eunice packed her stuff we headed out of school.
"Hey Sav! What should we gift auntie? Cake? Ice cream? Chocolate?" she said at a rapid speed.
"We can just go to the bakeshop. I think there was a limited edition Ice cream cake."
"Okay! Let's Go!"
As she hopped on the way there, something whispered to me that caught my attention, I stopped walking and I looked around and saw no one but me and Eunice close by.
I continued to walk and the whisper was getting louder and louder. It was hard to avoid, It annoys me a lot. I stop walking and look at the dark alley on the right. Eunice notices it.
"Are you alright Sav?" she said
"Uhm...Yeah, just a little tired from school, I'll catch up to you later. I'm just going to check something in here."
"Then let's check it together!"
"Okay…"
I took a look at the dark alley and we suddenly saw a spinning white-black hole? It does not make any sense. Eunice tried to get close to it but I warned her not to.
I gotta a bad feeling about this. She insists and she sticks it and screams a little, I get worried then she sticks it out, in and out and she laughs, I took a deep sigh and took her other arm to leave this alley.
Then when we were about to leave the spinning white-black hole tried to suck us in! We tried to hold on to the nearest heavy object around us but Eunice slipped her hand on it! I told you this was a bad idea!
At the last minute I grab her hand but my other arm can't handle us both and then we are both sucked by the white-black hole and everything turns black.
