The day passed in the Scheuer family, and Arthur continued to tell more details of his story, everything he could remember, his sister as always was more interested in her brother's new ability, space type abilities were extremely rare. She wanted to see what her brother could do with this ability, most users of this type of ability could not teleport very far, but even so these users were quite skilled in battle.
But that day her mother forbade her to fight with him, after all he had only recently returned.
They spent the rest of the day together, his mother told stories of traveling to planets to hunt beasts, his sister told of her experience at school, and so one day passed. The next day he was woken up by his sister inviting him to a duel, of course he accepted his sister was 2 years younger than him, she was currently 14 and he was 16 but her ability was always stronger because she had awakened the ability that belonged to their father, the Lightning ability.
The abilities were defined at birth, if some ancestor of yours had a fire ability then you could awaken a fire ability, it all depended on your ancestors, so it was common to be born with new abilities this occurred because over the years people with different abilities got together and gave birth to totally new abilities, Emily had awakened her father's ability, it was based on the Lightning attribute, and Arthur had awakened his mother's ability, it was a healing ability, it was very popular because few people had it and it was very useful in expeditions through portals.
Arthur and Emily met outside the house, Arthur wanted to test several things with his new ability. Outside in the back of the house they would duel, of course his mother didn't know, she had gone out to buy some things.
They both got ready and were in fighting position Arhur was still wearing a normal outfit that he had picked up in his room and the size fit perfectly, after all he didn't grow an inch while he was dead, he was quite surprised when he learned that his mother hadn't thrown it away, his sister le said that his mother liked to clean Arthur's room, he felt guilty for his supposed death since she possessed a healing ability plus she couldn't do anything for him.
"Ready?" Arthur asked
"More of course, just be careful or else you will be sent back to the grave" replied Emily trying to make a joke.
"Then let's get started" replied Arthur clumsily thinking about his sister's words.
The moment they started the duel a message came from the system.

Looking at the message Arthur was surprised, it seemed that leveling up was not the only way to get stronger. He still had the free statistic points that he had gained by leveling up, too many things happened and he didn't have time to look at everything, let alone decide where to put the points.

Emily had been excited for a fight with Arthur since the moment she had awakened her ability at age 6 they often trained together but she always had the advantage, her ability was more useful for combat and now her brother got a second ability she wanted to see how much he improved.
She got in combat position and started to activate her skill, and her body soon started to surround itself with small sparks, this was the way she used her skill she preferred hand to hand combat so she used the lightning to improve her body and make it tougher and faster.
"You've improved a lot," Arthur shouted as he ran forward, and didn't use the [Jump] skill because he wanted to save his aura, and only use it when it was really necessary.

Seeing Arthur coming to face her head on Emily decided to do the same in an instant she was a few meters from Arthur and in the other she was a few centimeters from him, and her hand was almost touching Arthur's face, but her senses were quick, he disappeared and reappeared again a few meters from her, what he didn't expect was that Emily could still use the ability to move faster, and soon she was already in front of him ready to give him a direct kick.
Seeing this Arthur used the jumping ability again, he could still use it 5 more times before running out of mana, it would be an endurance fight, he figured that for Emily to keep her lightning form would consume a lot of aura and she would soon be tired, the question was if he could hold out until then. Without much choice since Emily wouldn't give him much time to think, Arthur decided it was best to attack as well, he had already used the Jump twice and could only use five more, so the best thing to do was to try to finish the fight before then.
The moment Arthur dodged for the third time he simply reappeared behind Emily, but to his surprise Emily could sense his presence and punched him in the chest, Arthur barely managed to raise his arms in time to protect himself yet he was thrown far away and soon began spitting blood.
"Come on, if you keep running away you will run out of mana and you won't be able to heal yourself and mommy would be mad at me" Emily shouted with a smile as she started to run in front of Arthur so he wouldn't have time to counterattack.
"Heal!" shouted Arthur and he began to feel his body returning to normal, he had no idea that Emily's punch would be so strong.
When he stood up, Emily was already approaching him, he then started to punch towards Emily's oncoming hand. Seeing this Emily thought that Arthur would probably get hurt badly from trying to stop her punch with another punch, she began to wonder if she should back off or not, she didn't want her brother to get seriously hurt.
Then what happened just as their hands were about to touch surprised Emily, Arthur disappeared and she felt a pain in her back, turning around she saw nothing and then felt another punch this time in the ribs. That's when she realized what Arthur was doing, he was teleporting and attacking from several different angles, as good as her reaction was, it wasn't fast enough to keep up with the teleports, and he was soon defenseless.
Arthur managed to make four attacks and soon he was tired his mana was still too low and he couldn't abuse the jump.
'If he had a large amount of mana it could be put to very good use.' thought Arthur
After the fourth attack Arthur seeing that he could not cause much damage to Emily because of the layer of Lightning that protected her body decided to raise his hands as a sign of giving up. Of course Emily did not accept the result they fought for less than 10 minutes, she wanted to fight more.
"Emily please give me some rest, I came back yesterday" complained Arthur lying on the floor without mana.
"Why? I can still fight" replied Emily
"You still can, but I can't, I'm not used to using this skill yet, when I get used to it we will fight again"
"Promise?" Emily asked as she sat down on the grass next to Arthur
"I promise"

Some time passed and Naomi Arthur and Emily's mother came home and it was a big surprise to her to see part of the grass was burnt and Arthur lying there on the ground next to him.
"Emily? What did I say about dueling while your brother is recovering?" Naomi asked walking over to Emily and pulling her ear
"Sorryyyyyy" screamed Emily as she stood up trying to get loose.
"Tomorrow young lady, you go to school and don't even try to run away, if we get any calls from the teachers you be prepared"
" Why? Everything they teach I already know, I'm just wasting time" Emily replied almost crying.
"No excuses, tomorrow your father arrives from the expedition and we will go to the man who helped Arthur to thank him "
"Is dad coming tomorrow?" asked Arthur still lying down.
"Yes dear, I have already spoken to some acquaintances of ours from the government and explained the situation, soon you will be able to return to school they will only ask a few more questions " replied Naomi
"I'm going back to school? I thought I was going to the Military Academy since I'm 16? And how did you resolve the issue of my supposed death?" Arthur asked curiously.
"They thought it best that you spend another year at school, so that you can readapt, next year you will go to the Military Academy, as for the
question of your supposed death, your father and I have some acquaintances in the government that will take care of it, they will inform you that you were kidnapped and that your body was a fake, an ability of the kidnappers." Answered Naomi
"So will I be able to go to school with Arthur?" Emily asked
"Yes you will, but another day, tomorrow we will go to the house of the man who helped Arthur we will thank him and see if the kidnappers have not shown up there " replied Naomi
"I wanted to go with my brother to school tomorrow" replied Emily
"Enough of this, let's go inside and get some rest, I'm sure your brother is still in need of rest."

Inside his room resting Arthur went to look at his system.

Arthur thought it was better to use his remaining points and improve his Strength, as his attack did almost nothing against Emily. And the other thing was his Stamina and health. He assigned the points and his stats were now these:

The other thing he would look at was the quest bar, the skills he already knew what they were. He wanted to know what the [???] When everything calmed down he would try to find out more

Arthur watched everything and soon after started doing the daily quests, it was time to get stronger.
