I woke up, rubbing my temples when I felt a sudden headache while on my sleep.
'What was that?' I asked myself, still massaging the spot.
It's very rare for me to experience some headaches especially that I've always been maintaining a healthy diet ever since. Even though I was an empress, I always sleep early in order for me to take care of my health.
"This is weird."
I blinked my eyes and furrowed my eyebrows just when I saw a completely different room.
'Who in the world changed my room's interior?'
But then, a sudden realization has hit me.
'W-Wait. Where am I?!'
My eyes scanned the entire area and noticed that I am not familiar with it at all. The ceilings are lower, walls are made out of woods and lastly, the bed is way too small for a twenty- eight year old woman like me.
'W-Wait? Why am I small too?!'
I cupped my face using my now shrunken hands. "What is this?!" I accidentally yelled.
My body, this is not mine. It is too small for me. It's like...like...a young girl's body.
Seconds after my short drama, the door on my left suddenly opened, revealing an unfamiliar tall man in his thirties, rushing towards me.
'W-Who is this man?' I asked myself, still confused about what's happening.
"L-Luna? Are you okay?" He asked, his face was clearly showing some signs of worry. "You had a sudden fever and you've been asleep for three days!"
'Three days?! What in the world just happened to me?'
Wait. I thought I already died because of what happened that night? I can clearly remember how that foolish man stabbed me with a sword. But then, why? Why am I still alive and breathing fine? Aside from that...
'Why am I inside the body of a child?'
"Luna? Dad already signed for a short leave to take care of you. Are you sure you're now okay?" The man asked as he sat on the bed.
'Dad? What's this man talking about? He's clearly just a few years older than me!'
"Y-Yes. But whe-" Before I could even finish my sentence, a small embarrassing noise unexpectedly filled the entire room. 'Damn, I'm hungry.'
The man in front of me smiled as he patted my head softly. "Are you hungry Luna? Dad will go and get some food for you to eat."
'God, that was so embarrassing. I have never experienced being humiliated just like that.' I sighed, as I massaged my-now small stomach.
I ate my weird but tasty meal that day with lots of questions flying inside my head. How did I end up in this body? What really happened after I lost my consciousness? Those were just two questions among hundreds of them.

After a week or so, I've come to realize that I was indeed reincarnated inside the body of this small girl named, Luna Isabel Clemente. I don't know how and why but the man who took care of me was Leonard Clemente, her father.
I've been observing him for these past few days and learned that he actually works as a knight in a duke's house. 'Not bad'
I've also learned that Luna is still twelve years old and has always been bed-ridden because of how weak her body is. 'Looks like I have some small things to fix in this body of yours, child.' Not to mention that Luna is already a very attractive girl. Despite of her delicate-fragile small figure, Luna also possessed a very pale skin, black hair and mysterious blue eyes.
'At least I don't have to change my own appearance too.'
Anyways, putting everything aside. I am now living in a town called, Lakeside. Well it's all because the houses and establishments here are just literally few minutes away from a huge blue lake.
As an empress, I am familiar with the name of this town, especially that this town is still inside my empire's territory. In fact, this town is known to be filled with both nobles and middle class families. Judging from Luna's house and her dad's work, they clearly don't belong at any of those two at all.
Well I'm not saying that they're technically poor. Let's just say that, they're pretty living a normal and very simple life.
'What's that word again? Commoner?'
Everything about Luna's memory also came rushing inside me after I accidentally bumped my head on a nearby tree beside our house yesterday.
It was not only Luna's memories that came rushing inside my head but also my memories when I was still alive as an empress.
'Commoner.'
"Too bad Luna. Looks like I'm going to twist your simple life quite a bit. An empress like me doesn't settle for simple things after all." I smiled, before switching back to my favorite 'poker face' expression right after I heard Leo's cough.
"A-Ah Luna? Are you okay? Are you still sick?"
'Damn. He almost got me there. I think I need some time to practice hiding my true emotions.'
"I-I'm fine d-dad."
