Tori cleared her throat to draw the attention of her overly doting husband. "Your Highness, can I have the shawl now? I'm a bit cold."
Upon hearing her words, Emperor Corean immediately shifted his attention to Tori.
"Tori, are you alright?" His almost translucent sky blue eyes glistened with worry that made Tori bit the insides of her cheeks with guilt. She knew that her husband's worry for her was genuine and amidst the procession of faux expressions – and she was also a big fake to him right now.
Shaking her head, Tori patted his hand that was holding the shawl. He stood up to place it around her carefully – making it sure that she was well-covered. "This won't do. The shawl is too thin. Hey you." The emperor shifted his attention to one of the servants that were standing at the background, waiting to be instructed with a stoic face to conceal their emotion.
"Yes, Your Majesty?"
