TORI trotted towards the carriage with the royal insignia. The knight, who was their escort since they came out from the east gate of the Imperial Palace, bowed his head in submission before opening the door of the carriage for them. His eyes lingered to the black and red butterflies fluttering around her golden ringlets.
Waving her hand, she immediately stopped the knight's lingering gaze.
As soon as she entered the carriage, the two butterflies followed her. They were the queens of the colony. The rest of them were still lurking outside. For sure they would show up when Tori would summon them according to the way when she watched those scenes from the Season 3 of the Thorny Crown.
Thinking back, Tori was always in awe whenever that scene came. The bloody butterflies were one of the few reasons why Tori decided to continue watching the Thorny Crown.
