Clad in an imperial garb made of azure and silver hue, a pair of pants and coats with the sigil of the Eckrett Empire, Tori strode towards the emperor's palace where the imperial court was located. Her silky wavy golden locks, which were tied in a ponytail using a tie filled with rubies, swayed every step she took against the carpeted tiled floor.
The surrounding chandeliers hanging above her head and the pristine paintings of her husband's kin did not strike her attention. Instead, a litter of ruby specks in her eyes was focused ahead of her – not minding the imperial knights standing in every nook and cranny of the place.
"Tell me the current situation, Lily," said Tori. Her words were muttered under her breath as if her lips did not part at all. With gritted teeth and jaws clenched, veins started to protrude around her neck as she willed herself not to lash out when she would face the imperial court members without prior notice.
