Blood echo (1B)
That's it, from all the memories I've glimpsed from the Crimson God this is the only ability I have? This wasn't even in part of the memories I saw... Or was it, gah the more time the passes the more of those memories I loose. "Status" I spoke aloud
///Status

I mentally hovered over the status icon to open up a more detailed list. I never would have known this with out those memories.

I nodded expecting as much I was weak, so very weak. If I understood correctly, all my ability cost my own blood to use. My limit is based on the safe limits of my body, if I go over the 100 points of my blood then I will begin experiencing side effects, but those memories where lost. The blood echo skill uses 1 point of my blood on use.
I decided to test it out, my heart pulsed one and for a moment everything in my surroundings were clear as day. I could even see the people walking above me, they resonated with the pulse and emitted much weaker pulses in return. This gave me a clear pin point accaracy of their current locations. The surroundings were fuzzy in comparison but I could navigate on the pulses if I needed to, what surprised me the most however were the thousands of tiny pulses coming from all directions.
Walking over to the nearest pulse I felt in the wall I started to dig into the wall and in less than a few seconds I found three blood gems close together. I grinned like a fool as I swallowed the gem

I frowned the third gem didn't give me a point, I tapped on my chin as I thought and figured it might be a hidden limit. Pulling up the status menu again I looked at my current stats. My physical strength was lagging behind, I figured it would be best to increase my physical capabilities for now.
///You have selected to increase your Str stat for 1Bp do you agree yes/no

Selecting yes I felt slightly light headed has the costs were deducted from my body. At first I didn't think anything happened but the dull ach in my muscles signified that something happened, I picked up the pick and slammed in into the wall a few time and noticed that I could dig faster but barely. As my masters once said a powerful man can take on a powerful foe, but an enduring man can take on an army.
With that thought I checked my stamina ussage and sighed. As expected the extra strength came at a cost to my stamina. After swinging my pick ten times I would only loose 2 stm points. After swinging only nine times I lost the same. It's not enough to worry about now but if I'm not careful it could be disastrous in the future. I put points into endurance and strength and boosted them to 5
///Blood points -20

I took a step to the wall and swung my pick axe. Taking the time to check my status I was interested to see that I could now swing my axe 15 times before the percentage dropped by one confused I pulled up the status page again.

Huh interesting why did my stamina gain such a large boost? Is it because I increased my endurance and strength? I thought for a moment and tried to use some logic but I couldn't figure out the reason as to why. I focused on the status stats and tried to will more information to come from the system. It surprised me when it worked.
Strength increases overall muscle mass and carry wieght. This stat determines how hard you can hit and how far you can jump.
Dexterity determines how well you can coordinate your body and the accuracy of your attacks. This also determines your flexibility and reflexes.
Enderance determines how much energy your body has to work with and also determines your body's physical endurance and overall health.
Intelligence determines how fast you can memorize details that you read, write, or hear and determines how well you can retain the information and how fast you can recall specific details.
Wisdom determines how well you can use the knowledge that you have and how easily you can assimilate new information and use it with existing knowledge. This also helps you make connections in ways you may have missed before.
After reading through the details I realized that I might not be able to understand the connections between my new stats and my odd stamina increase because I lacked the wisdom to see the connection. I have no doubt that I would eventually make the connection but maybe increasing the stat could help it along.

///Blood Point 60
I felt a slight headache as the points were added to my body. I looked back at the stats again and tried to reason our the reason for the increase and while I'm not sure if it was because of the increase or not I did havea vague idea. A strong body can work longer, a weak body tires easily. Is it simply because my current stength makes everything easier to work with and is there for more efficient with the energy? At that thought I added my points to my dexterity and that rounded me out perfectly, equal numbers accross the board.

I repeated the pickaxe test again and found that I could swing my axe twenty times before seeing a difference in my stamina. I tossed the kick up and down and was surprised when it struck the ceiling of my little cave. The pick was much lighter than it was before, I flexed and noticed my muscles were more defined and the fat on my body was beginning to decrease. Huh, maybe the changes aren't immediate. I looked at my stats again andfrowned at what I saw.

It seemed that after enhancing my body back to back I gained an exhausted debuff. I guess the increases had to come from somewhere, and with out my Ki in my body it probably came directly from my body, thus the debuff.
Looking at the skill page I noticed a few other icons next to the status tab. I was to distracted by my experiments to pay attention but now that I noticed them I figured it wouldn't hurt to have a look at the store.

Locking my eyes on the cultivation tab I pulled it up. My old cultivation methods relied on having direct access to the sun and sky or a source of fire and open air. My clan focused primarily on the aspects of fire and air as the immortal dragon king once did. The power to soar through the sky's and rain fire from above was the peak of the cultivation technique that my family has reached in times of old.
But my current situation didn't favor me in that regard, the small flames in the lanterns and the stale air of the cave systemwould only hinder my progress and even cause corruption to build in my meridians. Hopefully the store will have cultivation materials that could be used even in my current situation.
///Store

Only one item was available at this time as the rest were greyed out and that was the blood meridian cultivation foundation technique. I gritted my teeth however as the price for such an item was outrageous, 100 Blood points to afford the new cultivation method and it was only the foundation. I breathed deep, in, out, in, out. Looking over the other cultivation techniques I noticed they included the next steps of the technique, I spat on the floor. Stupid system and it's outrageous prices, 100 blood points for just the beginning of the cultivation method. I cursed my self for not checking the store first as it would have saved me the time I needed to gather more blood points.
Before closing the page however I pulled up the ability page and began looking.
I smiled at what I saw, abilities like enhanced digestion, eagle eyes, blood claw, blood bullet, enhanced bone marrow, ect was scrolled out before me and my smile became strained when I began reading the prices. The cheapest item was 50 blood points and most of the list was greyed out and blurred so I couldn't read them.
What felt like a great opportunity to get revenge is starting to look farther and farther away but I refused to back down. No matter how long it takes I will return to the world a new man and my clan with feel the wrath of the betrayed.
As I said this my stomach growled loudly and I sighed, I guess I need to offer some of my spoils if I'm going to remain down in this hole. My body can't take days with out food, and I don't have any Ki to stave off some of my hunger like before. I sighed again as I picked up my axe and begun filling the bucket with gems. I hated to see them go but I was quite happy when I had food in my belly again. Just you wait, I just need to bide my time and eventually I will have the strength to leave, I don't care how long it takes.
