Chapter 22 - 22. Oddity

"Jakarta? Why did we arrive in Jakarta?" Padmasari shouted hysterically, making all who looked at her annoyed. Maira and Adrian looked at each other hearing Padmasari's screams. Padmasari covered her frustrated face. She couldn't understand that Maira had set her up at this time. she was really annoyed that her best friend had deliberately handed Padmasari over to Mr. Kusuma. Seeing Padma's intimidating gaze, Maira shook her head while raising her hands.

"Don't think I'm the one sabotaging our journey, Padma. For God's sake, I didn't betray you at all."

"Then what is all this? Don't you have any empathy at all for all that I've been through in my life, Maira? I suffered, suffered so much to be by his side. My husband is arrogant and very heartless.." Maira wanted to hug Padmasari but she refused. Padmasari still has not received the reason for the flight error. Her trust in the friend she desperately hoped for would be able to free her from the shackles of her husband.

"Come down first, Padma. We'll ask what's the problem with our current flight. I also wanted to ask why we got on the wrong plane and no one reminded us. I swear that we did travel to Makassar. Check out this boarding pass! Isn't it clearly written here that our goal is Raja Ampat? Isn't it Jakarta?"

"What is the reality? Are we there? You always said that you wanted to free me from Kusuma, but in reality? Ah, I would even prefer it if we were in Jogja. What's the difference between me in Jogja and Raja Ampat if I end up having to come back here?" Adrian, who saw Padmasari cursing, could only look at her in amazement. He had been looking for his sister for several years, but now he really met the sister he had been looking for.

"Sister Padma?" Padmasari looked at Adrian while frowning. She felt something strange when she saw it. "Who are you? Why do you know me? I don't think I have any memory of a man other than my husband Mr. Kusuma." Adrian shook his head. He was surprised by the confession of his sister who no longer knew him. Adrian had heard stories from people who were ordered to look for Padmasari, that his only sister had amnesia.

"I'm Adrian, sis. Don't you have any memories with me at all?"

"Memories with you? Adrian? Adrian who? I do not know. Don't pretend to be nice just because I'm frustrated. I will not tolerate anyone who tries to offer help in getting away from Mr. Kusuma, my husband. Let alone you, Maira, who I have been friends with for a long time, I can't rely on." Maira and Adrian looked at each other.

"So you're Maira, my sister's friend? Why did you pretend you didn't know me? Is there anything to hide from me? Tell me who you are and why you're the only one she remembers!" Adrian pulled Maira's collar, he wanted to hit the face of the woman he had been talking to for a long time, but before he could raise his hand, a flight attendant approached them.

"My apologies, ladies and gentlemen. The plane has landed and it's time for you to get off. We will be making our way back soon." Adrian nodded. He grabbed Maira's arm and took her out of the plane. Before descending the stairs, they saw a large number of men in black uniforms lined up under their plane. Padmasari knew that they were envoys from her husband who wanted to pick her up. She wanted to run back inside, but suddenly a voice came from below.

"Mommy, come down! It's me, your son. I miss you." Padmasari shed tears hearing Andika's hoarse voice from holding back her tears. She was utterly devastated by what she had just heard. Leaving her son only today, but she feels like it's been a long time. Padmasari ran to the stairs again and tried to walk down the plane steps to meet her son.

"Mommy, be careful!" Padmasari looked down. there stood Andika and Amurwa who were smiling looking at her. As Padmasari stepped onto the second staircase from the top, Amurwa closed his eyes. He was astonished by what he saw. Padmasari's skirt was exposed because of the strong wind that night and from there came a golden light that dazzled his eyes.

"Oh my God, what is this? Why does Madam have such a dazzling golden light like this? murmured Amurwa Bhumi. He bit his lower lip as he continued to look at Padmasari's thighs which were always exposed even though the owner was always adjusting the position of her skirt. Amurwa looked around, trying to see if all of his men saw what he saw. Surprisingly, all of his men were still standing in their original position, feeling nothing.

"What do you see, my grandson? Do you think that they also see the same thing as what you see? Huh, They won't. The privilege of women like Padmasari cannot be seen by the naked eye. The only ones who can see are the chosen ones like you." A voice rang in Amurwa's ears, causing him to turn around and turn to look for the person who whispered the sentence.

"Ha ha ha, who are you looking for, Grandson? I am in your body. United within you and not on your right or left. I'm in your body. Remember that."

"Wh-who are you?" Amurwa's screams startled Andika who was now in Amurwa's arms. Andika was stunned to see Amurwa who was upset. He thought Amurwa was scolding someone, but he didn't see anyone at all. Andika broke away from Amurwa and ran towards Padmasari because he was afraid of Amurwa who was about to go berserk.

"Mom. . . ." Padmasari immediately stretched out her hands, trying to grab Andika's body and take him in her arms.

"Honey, I'm sorry." Andika shook his head. He cries in Padmasari's arms.

"I apologize, Mommy. Sorry for being naughty. Always don't want to do what you want." Padmasari hugged Andika silently. She really felt sorry for having left a fragile soul who was very thirsty for love. She crouched down, equalizing herself to Andika's height, trying to cup his cheeks and kiss him gently. "I'm sorry, Mommy sorry, honey. Mommy was impatient and chose the wrong path." Andika shook his head. He knew his mother was tired because before going to the airport, Amurwa had told him that his mother had just traveled far from Jakarta Yogyakarta and Yogyakarta Jakarta and spent a long time in the air at Amurwa's request. The journey that should have taken one hour, was taken within three hours for some reason.

"Mommy must be tired huh? I knew Mommy had just gone on a long trip. You will rest all day once we get to Uncle Murwa's house." Padma looked at Andika's face with a frown. She had no idea why she had to return to Amurwa's house, not to her husband's, Mr. Kusuma.

"Why to Uncle Amurwa's house, dear? Why not. . . ." Padmasari didn't continue her speech when she saw a handsome man walking towards her with sharp eyes. As usual, Mr. Kusuma always showed his arrogant face, and this time it was added with a more sinister look, more like a lion who wanted to kill.
