Chapter 12 - 12. Andika's Disappoinment

"Mummy is sick, Uncle. I'm fine, just tired." Andika pursed his lips. Seeing Andika's behavior, Amurwa looks very guilty. He knew that he had been absent from visiting Andika for several months. Several times, Andika failed to meet him at his house because he had to accompany Mr. Kusuma to negotiate with clients. Several times Mr. Kusuma received death threats and several times, Amurwa managed to complete all of his work well. This success made Mr. Kusuma reluctant to let go and let Amurwa relax for a while with Andika. Amurwa took a deep breath. "Honey, I'm sorry, yes. I promise . . . ."

"No promises, Uncle. I really don't want to get any more false promises. Papa also often promised to give time for me and mommy, but in fact, for the past six years, papa has not fulfilled his promise at all."

"You're six years old? When's your birthday, honey? Uncle would love to give you a present for your birthday." Andika pursed his lips. very annoyed he heard the unimportant question from the lips of the man he had always admired.

"Even on my birthday, you have forgotten. Usually, you are the first to say it. Even though you didn't give me a present at that time, I was very happy that I was still being cared for. Now, even though you would give me anything, I really don't want to reveal when my birthday is. Will not." Amurwa is silent. He realized the mistake he had made. Ignoring Andika is the same as inflicting a wound on a boy who puts a lot of hope in him.

"I'm sorry, honey. I will try to be myself before becoming head of security. I . . . ."

"Come on, Uncle. I'll hang up on you. I am tired." Without waiting for Amurwa's answer, Andika immediately ended the call. He tossed his phone on the corner of his bed then got off and walked towards the balcony of his room. Andika sat on a long bench which he deliberately asked Bryan so he could enjoy the bodyguards passing by in his yard. He wants to learn a lot from those who work hard just to take care of their families.

"You always say that right? Always wanted to be like Amurwa who became Mr. Kusuma's confidant? Take a look at you, so you don't go too far in your dreams." The voices of the bodyguards' conversation reached Andika's ears. Andika put on alert mode to the bodyguards. He was eager to hear what they had to say about Amurwa, the man who was supposed to be his father someday.

"Do you remember who he was? He, who is just a stable keeper, can get promoted like now, why can't I?'

"It is possible that you are descended from this great king in Java. His grandfather Amurwa's power even reached foreign countries. Read the history of Sri Rajasa. You will definitely be stunned. That's Amurwa's grandfather."

"Still, we as humans must try, Brother. Effort will not betray the results. We have to practice a lot of martial arts, if necessary learn from Mr. Amurwa to be given the same strength as him." "Huft, the greatest power is the power of God. Don't forget that."

Slap.

A loud slap sounded in Andika's ear. He was surprised, hearing how hard the slap landed somewhere.

"Ow, you always hit me. Why don't you just kill me?"

"It would be stupid if I killed you. I will get into big trouble from Mr. Kusuma. Even if you are just an ordinary bodyguard, Mr. Kusuma will not allow his loyal subordinates to be killed. Remember that!"

"I know. But never hit like that. It hurts you know?"

"I'm not hurt."

"You. . . ."

"Ha ha ha" Their conversation made Andika slightly open his eyes and feelings for his father. The person he had thought of as a bad person who had no heart at all, turned out to be a good person in the eyes of his subordinates.

"Why do you look good with other people, while in my eyes you're still an annoying papa, Pa? When am I going to change my point of view on you?" Andika looked in the other direction, where there were bodyguards working on training to meditate. Several times five people with different firing boards fired their bullets. The distance is far enough to make Andika have to frown until his eyebrows knit together.

"Is this a house only for people who practice martial arts without anyone practicing etiquette and manners? How unfortunate my fate is like this. I was raised by a hard-hearted father and a gentle mother who was distraught by Papa's treatment." Andika looked up at the sky, as if asking God why he had to be born into an abnormal family like his friends.

"If I had to choose, I would like to be like Willy who was born into an ordinary family and lives a normal life like a normal human being."

"But how can I achieve this goal of mine? I was already born without being able to refuse. I was born from the seed of an arrogant Mr. Kusuma and from a mother who was tortured mentally, almost depressed." Andika is still monologuing. He didn't realize that someone from below was smiling while looking at him. Several times the person waved his hand at Andika to ask him to come down and meet him but several times he failed.

"Young master"

No one knows how many calls. Andika turned to the source of the voice where there was already standing the man he missed the most, waving and smiling at him. Andika immediately ran from the balcony and ignored his mother's gaze who was still lying on the bed. Andika kept running until s\he could reach the stairs. There Mr. Kusuma was walking towards him. Andika stopped his steps and looked down. He was really upset that his father's presence was not at all appropriate in such an unsupportive setting.

"Uhm" Andika lowered his head more after hearing his father clear his throat. He had absolutely no interest in greeting the bad boy who always hurt him and his mother.

"Don't you want to see Papa's face at all?"

'Em, n-no I don't want to, Papa. I-I, I . . . ." Mr. Kusuma looked at his son who looked scared to see him. He walked over to his son and crouched in front of him. He was very upset to see a boy who was shy and even tended to be afraid of him. Mr. Kusuma's hand was stretched out trying to hold Andika's face, which was looking down so he would look at him seriously, but instead of letting Mr. Kusuma, Andika backed away and ran to his room. He closed the door and locked it from the inside. Andika ran to the bed and covered his loving body shaking because of his fear of seeing the actions taken by his father.

"No daddy, No. I really don't want to repeat what happened that time. I won't forgive you. Will not. I won't forgive you, Papa."
