Chapter 2 - The First Job! The Return of Titania...
{Fairy Tail Guild... Few hours after the events of Goku vs Natsu}
The pink haired Dragon Slayer slowly opened his eyes and looked around the room, only to come to the conclusion that he was in a familiar bed, which he recognized to be the infirmary. Gently, he moved himself to the edge of his bed and seated himself there, shaking his head to recollect what had just transpired. This process of his was suddenly interrupted by the same care-free voice which kicked his ass in record time.
"Hey, it took you a while to wake up!" Goku had that sheepish grin on his face. "I didn't mean to knock you out for that long." The Saiyan leaned against a chair next to the Dragon Slayer's bed, that goofy smile not diminishing one bit.
Natsu began stretching his arms to flex his sore muscles. "How long was I out?!" He inquired to the Saiyan. But before his queries could be answered, the familiar face of an Ice Wizard who now entered the room, invited his attention. Gray Fullbuster had on a smug expression plastered across his face. That was more than enough to annoy Natsu to no end.
"You were out for a few hours and you got your ass kicked by Goku in record time" Gray stated with a mocking smirk towards Natsu, making the pinkette get out of his bed in record time and stand face to face with his rival, giving him a comical dirty look.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY STRIPPER? AS FAR AS I KNOW YOU CAN'T BEAT ME." Natsu yelled towards the Ice Mage. His demeanour exuding contempt, which drove Gray crazy.
"DO YOU REALLY WANT TO HAVE A GO AND GET BEAT UP MATCHSTICK!?" The ice wizard retorted towards his rival as he grabbed him by his vest.
"YOU ARE THE ONE WHOS GETTING BEAT UP!" Natsu yelled back in kind, simultaneously raising his fist at his rival. He was ready to duke it out with Gray and settle who was the strongest once and for all right at that moment.
At this point Goku knew that both of the Fairy Tail mages in front of him, had crossed the point of no return. It was only a matter of moments before they would begin butting heads with each other. Accepting the bitter truth that there was nothing he could do to stop them, the saiyan sighed to himself and sneaked out of the Infirmary. Night had already befallen and almost everyone had gone back to their homes except Mirajane, who was cleaning up the bar. The former S class mage noticing that the Saiyan God had no place to spend the night was kind enough to invite him over to her house. However, Goku thankfully declined her offer assuring her that he would manage somehow.
The Saiyan left the guild hall and went outside to get himself some fresh air. Looking up at the beautiful starry sky, he mused to himself. "It's just my second day on this world and I already have friends who would support me." His lips curved to form a gentle smile. "I'm beginning to love this guild more with each passing day, despite only being here for such a short amount of time."
"I just wonder what kind of adventures are waiting for me in this world." These thoughts occupied the Saiyan's mind. He had made a promise to Chi-Chi, that he would have adventures like the ones he used in the past with Bulma and the others. While also finding a mate. However he wasn't in a rush to fulfil all this, since the Earth was in good hands with Vegeta and the other Saiyans and his student Uub, acting as its protectors. They were the strongest in the Universe, besides the God of Destruction. These thoughts of his were interrupted when he felt the presence of the Fairy Tail Guild Master beside him.
"It seems that you are enjoying the view young man." Makarov stated as he came up to Goku and accompanied him in gazing at the starts.
"Indeed it is Master!" Goku replied in the affirmative. "But what brings you here?" he turned towards the guild master. "I thought you were already at home. I did not expect to find anyone here except Mira-chan." The saiyan's voice echoed inquisitiveness. He was a bit taken aback on finding that Master Makarov was still present in the guild.
"I was wondering how strong you really are." The guild master assumed a more serious expression. "You defeated Natsu like it was child's play with that impressive attack and he might even become an S-Class Mage in the next trial which commences in a few months. So I want to see what kind of power you possess with this 'Ki' thing you mentioned to me earlier." Makarov's intonation was austere and it also revealed the lofty amount of curiosity that had begun to develop in him.
Goku pondered on this for a few seconds. His began to deliberate on what he would gain from powering up, and showcasing the extent of his powers. It was not that he was against the idea. But, the major deterrence was that every time he displayed his strength, he would either shake an entire landscape or even a planet.
"However it feels like I can trust Master. He seems to be that kind of person who would not reveal my capabilities to anyone. Someone I can trust behind my back." Goku deduced within his mind. After reaching an effective consensus, he directed his attention towards master Makarov. "Sure! But it has to be somewhere else. I don't want to destroy the guild by releasing my energy he…he…he." He added with the trademark Son grin.
"Very well. I know a place where you can release your energy without it affecting anyone." Makarov responded still a pit perplexed, reeling back from the sudden shock that he had experienced, courtesy of Goku talking about destroying the guild by releasing his energy and that too as if it was an everyday affair.
"Awesome! Lead the way Master!" The saiyan retorted ecstatically rubbing the side of his neck as he prepared to follow the guild master to the location he mentioned. Little did they know that their conversation was being overheard by the Dragon Slayer and The Ice Make wizard, who hid themselves behind the door.
"So are you going to tell me why the hell we have to follow them Matchstick?" Saying that Gray was annoyed would be an understatement. It was already late into the night and what the ice wizard wanted to do the most right now was to go home and loose himself in some much needed sleep. But the dragon slayer beside him was adamant in his stand.
"Because I want to see how strong Goku is obviously." Natsu Dragneel shot back. "It would be interesting to see how powerful he is. Don't you think Ice Princess?" The Dragon Slayer had a grin on his face. Gray collected his thoughts and mused upon it for a while. He had initially passed it off to be bothersome. However he was interested in seeing how powerful Goku really was. This interest fuelled by the display of strength Goku exhibited in his battle against Natsu.
"... Now that you mention it. It could be interesting to see if Goku is strong enough to beat Erza" Gray decided to tag along with Natsu's idea. Both he and the Dragon Slayer stood no chance against Erza, who was an S Class Mage. Having someone who stood on equal terms with her, or even better was stronger than her, piqued his curiosity to such an extent that he was ready to forsake sleep to witness the Saiyan's display of strength.
"Alright then." Exclaimed Natsu with a grin as he motioned Gray to follow him. "Let's go." He made use of his enhanced sense of smell due to being a dragon slayer to locate the scents of Goku and Makarov. He was able to spot it with little effort. The Dragon Slayer and the Ice Mage then began to move towards the direction where the other two had gone.
{Scene Change...}
Goku and Makarov now stood at a secluded spot in the middle of the forests, on the outskirts of Magnolia. It was a few miles away from the Guild or any other settlement in Magnolia, The Saiyan God noticed that he was being followed by Natsu and Gray, who were hundreds of meters away from them. However he wasn't annoyed or did anything to expose them to the Master. Since he was going to display a certain extent of his power, the other two might as well witness how much it was, mainly because it was not every day they got to see the Saiyan God release his energy.
"This is a good spot Master!" Stated Goku as he looked around the vast landscape. He felt confident enough to release a bit of his power since he could deduce that it would create no harmful aftereffects.
"Thank you Goku." Makarov felt a bit blissful. "Usually, we use this place for sparing sessions only when Destructive Magic or a greater scale of power is involved in the match." The guild master heaved a sigh reminiscing a few bad memories he had. "So I don't have to end up paying all the bills that come from the people in Magnolia" He sweat-dropped. His guild was renowned for being really destructive so he wanted to prevent his 'children' from creating a lot of destruction especially Gildarts, their Ace and a certain pink haired Dragon Slayer.
"Well that's a good thing." Goku chuckled at the expression the old man was making. Then his face took a massive one eighty. "Master I want you to take a few steps back. This can get a bit destructive"
"Very well." The Master of Fairy Tail responded as he retreated a few meters back from where he stood. He saw that Goku got into a different stance, where he clenched both of his fists. "He is strong in his own rights but I don't think he could surpass the Elites of the guild that easily." Oh Boy. Could he be any more wrong at this?
Goku closed his eyes and took in a deep breath. And then with a loud scream, he began to power up. His massive Ki which was being unleashed formed a whitish aura around his being. Slight cracks began to appear on the ground that he stood which quickly gave away to a large depression as he continued to unleash his energy. The Guild Master was highly impressed at this display of might. None of the other members in Goku's age group were capable of producing something like this right of the bat.
The saiyan's bellow began to get louder with each passing moment until it was audible at everywhere in the forest. The milky white aura that encased his figure began to flare up and sky rocketed like a tremendous wild fire. This massive influx of Ki sent shockwaves throughout the entire forest. The sheer force of it blew away everything around the saiyan. Makarov had to hold onto a large boulder to avoid the possibility of being caught up in the effects of this powering up. The same was applicable to the two wizards who had sneaked upon the two. Natsu Dragneel and Gray Fullbuster who, in a normal scenario would be at each other's throats for each and every matter were now hugging each other in fear.
With each moment that lapsed by, the shockwaves gave rise to a massive earthquake that began to violently shake the entire landscape. Not only was it limited to the forest, the entire town of Magnolia was also experiencing the ramifications of the Saiyan's display. The Third Guild Master of Fairy Tail was in utter shock. Never in his life has he seen someone this young, who gave out such immense, monstrous amount of energy.
"This kind of raw power can even surpass the likes of a Wizard Saint like myself. No, the Four Gods of Ishgar could not compare to this pressure he's producing. However this is not Magic Energy for sure... So this is what 'Ki' is capable of" These thoughts ran through, within Makarov. He was glad that he had someone like him in the guild because if he was an enemy then he would have been in big trouble, since Goku's raw power surpassed him and even Gildarts combined. "I might consider him to be a candidate for the Wizard Saint Trials. He has the power to be one"
Natsu and Gray were also thinking more or less the same. They had never seen someone with the capability to create Hurricanes and Earthquakes at the same time with only their raw power alone. And he was around their age group!
"Holy Shit! He could beat Erza, Laxus and even Gildarts at the same time with that kind of power!" Natsu's perplexed voice came through. "This is getting me fired up! I'll ask him if he wants to create a team with me and maybe Lucy" Thought the Dragon Slayer with a smirk on his face as he was covering himself.
"This is insane, even if his energy feels different than Magic, he's already surpassed Master AND Gildarts with raw power alone!" Gray was unable to comprehend what he was witnessing. He had accompanied Natsu because he was interested to see how strong the newcomer was. But he did not expect him possess power that surpassed even the guild's ace.
"I can see now that he defeated Natsu with such ease" Gray mused to himself as he covered himself from the strong gust being produced by the Saiyan's display of strength.
Makarov could tell that there was no end to Goku's power up as it was still rising. He could hear a faint sound of a beast mixed with his actual yelling, making him raise his eyebrows out of curiosity. However, his thoughts were interrupted as there were big chunks of rocks levitating around the saiyan now. The trees around the empty area were uprooted and stared to fly away and to the shock of everyone watching this, tornadoes began to form and land around the Saiyan's surrounding. Makarov knew that if didn't stopped this, the entire city could be destroyed!
"That's enough Goku! If you keep going you might end up destroying the entire landscape and the city itself!" Makarov bellowed as he used some of his Giant Magic to prevent himself from being blown away from. To his good fortune, Goku managed to hear what he said and ceased from powering up any further and thus making all the disasters around him to die down. However the white aura around him still remained as he only halted himself from further increasing his energy
"Such a powerful presence... and he doesn't seems serious about it!" Thought Makarov, utterly shocked from Goku's power and how casual he was acting. The saiyan simply looked around the landscape and laughed nervously with one hand on the back of his head
"Sorry Master! I think I might have overdid it a little. Hehe... "Goku stated with a sheepish grin. "So that was only 1/10 of my base power, what do you think?" He added with his care-free tone as he made his white aura disappear, leaving Makarov an utterly stumped man.
"That was only 1/10 of his power?! I can't imagine how powerful he is at his full power if he ever needs to use it. He might be able to fights Dragons all on his own with that kind of energy" The guild Master of Fairy Tail was in deep thought after all the happenings. Never in a million years would he had imagined that someone capable of doing such devastation by powering up would exist. He already saw a glimpse of his speed and power during his fight against Natsu and he could be sure the saiyan was not lying about him only using 1/10 of his power. "Just where did he come from and how is he so strong?"
Both Natsu and Gray jaw-dropped at hearing that he was only at 1/10th of his power. They were unable to deliberate even in their wildest imaginations, what he was really capable off at his full power. Natsu was even thinking he could battle Igneel on equal grounds even if he wasn't a Dragon Slayer like himself. It also made him realize that in this world there could be people who could surpass the powers of the Dragons even if they aren't Dragon Slayers and Goku just proved it to him. Gray was having the same mentality that he had to work harder if he wanted to surpass the elites so he could protect everything that was precious to him.
"I think I shocked him with my power, I thought people on this world were used to this much power..." Goku mouthed to himself simultaneously reminding himself to keep his power in check, because it could bring unwanted attention and he didn't enjoy that at all. Then he turned his head to the side from where he was sensed the Mage's magical energy "Natsu and Gray, so what do you think? I want to hear your opinions"
At hearing that comment, Makarov turned his head where Goku was looking and saw that he was indeed right about Natsu and Gray spying on them. But what piqued his curiosity even more was, how easily was able to sense them
"Not only he's powerful but also has a mastery in sensory abilities. Maybe even better than mine since I was so busy observing him" Thought Makarov as he found himself keener to know what Goku was capable of and how much varied range of abilities he did possess. His thoughts were interrupted when the Fire and Ice Mage stood in front of the Saiyan still with bewildered.
"Just how strong are you Goku?! Just by feeling the pressure of the energy you were releasing, we could see you already surpassed Master and even our Guild's Ace" The Dragon Slayer stated with a jolted tone towards Goku.
"I have to agree with Natsu on this one! It doesn't make sense that you have this much magic power than our master! Beside you're in our age group." Gray followed from where natsu left off, with a serious demeanour and a hint of frustration at why he couldn't become this strong if Goku could do it. The Saiyan God noticed these frustrations which began to surface and started to explained
"Well, it's not easy to obtain the kind of power that I possess. It took me a lot of severe training to even come to this point and also this is not Magic that you guys use as a resource to release energy" stated Goku with a serious expression towards the three mages who remained dazed at the explanation.
"Wait so you mean that you don't use Ethernano?!" Gray cut in, totally taken aback. The Saiyan just shook his head as an answer "Then what kind of energy source do you use to fight?" The Ice Mage added as soon as he finished.
"It's called Ki. From what I had learned so far it seems that you guys absorb the particles of this called 'Ethernano' in the sky to regain all of your energy back." Goku began on a calm and collected tone. "However Ki comes from within every living thing so it's basically your life force. But also to control your Ki, you need to control the 'Genki', 'Yuki' and 'Shoki'. Those three components can unlock the power that I possess" The Saiyan finished with his explanation Goku towards Makarov, Natsu and Gray who were delving their complete attention towards the saiyan's lecture.
"Using the Life-Force of energy is not something to be played with, since it's more devastating than magic itself. And also it can shorten someone's life-spam if it's not used properly. Now this young man is capable to control that potent power to such extend. Son Goku is truly a genius in mastering this powerful source of energy." Thought Makarov as he praised Son Goku for this 'accomplishment'. Nobody that he knew in Earthland has learned how to use Ki. Even the First Guild Master, Mavis Vermillion couldn't control the power of Ki and she created one of the strongest spells of Light for Fairy Tail." These thoughts which rummaged through Makarov's mind were suddenly interrupted as Natsu posed a question.
"Can anyone learn it? I mean mages like Gramps, Gray and even me despite having Magic as our main resource?" asked the Dragon Slayer towards Goku, Gray was surprised with the kind of question Natsu was asking like if he wanted to learn this source.
"Of course! All beings possess Ki. So that means you guys also fall under that category. Despite already using one source of energy, you can surpass the limitations of a normal mage" Answered the Saiyan God with a smile on his face reassuring.
"Fair enough" simply said Gray with a smile. If he only had the courage to ask him for some tips and learn how to unlock this energy within himself and become a stronger mage. However it seemed that Natsu already beat him to it, as he was kneeing down in front of Goku surprising him "N...Natsu!?"
"Train me Goku! I want to learn the ways of controlling Ki so I can become stronger and face my father Igneel. I'm supposed to be the son of the Fire Dragon King who's the strongest of dragons and as his I also need to be the strongest, but I'm not. I can't even reach S-Class Level despite all the training I have done. So please Goku take me under you're wing!" stated Natsu as he was looking at Goku with a serious expression. He was tired of being treated as a weakling by the Elites. He's supposed to be the 'son' of the Fire Dragon King for Kami sake! He has to be strong and prove that Dragon Slayers have to be strong. Before he could proceed any further with his thoughts he saw Gray kneeing down in the same position.
"If Flame-brain wants to be trained by you, then I'll join as well! I'm tired of being helpless in situations when I'm overpowered by other mages and I want to prove to the world that I'm strong enough to protect what's precious to me" said Gray with determination exuding from his eyes, After all the fiasco that happened with his old master a decade ago he didn't want to repeat the same situation where he had to rely on others to settle his scores. Goku could be that person who could give him that power to become stronger than anyone
The Saiyan God stared at both of them with an austere visage, making both mages sweat nervously. He saw the truth in both of them. In Natsu it was the frustration of being treated like a weakling and to prove that Dragon Slayers are the strongest. It reminded him of the Saiyans specifically a Saiyan Prince to certain extent. However, with Gray he saw determination on getting stronger to protect what was precious to him. Such strong ambitions for power.
After a few seconds Goku showed flashed his trademark Son Grin assuring that he would train them in the arts of Ki. Besides it wouldn't be that bad to have some student. It reminded him of the days where he trained Uub and Pan.
"Sure I'm glad to take you both under my wing! However unlocking the power of Ki will not be easy, I have to train you physically to super-human levels without relying on magic and much more hardships. But I just know you guys will do fine." answered Goku with a smile of his face.
At this both mages grinned ear to ear and for the first time since Goku had been here in Fairy Tail, he saw both of them fist bump like best friends. At the side-lines Makarov was also simpering that his 'children' wanted to learn more from Goku about the secrets of Ki.
"It also would help both of them for the S-Class Trials coming up in three months. I just pray to Kami that they don't use that power like they use their magic on their missions. I already enough bills to pay for their stupid actions." Thought Makarov somewhat nervous at what Gray and specifically Natsu would do with that kind of power, He was already glad that he took Goku to this spot for him to power up and that wasn't even enough for his power to be contained. He just shook his head and said "So now that's out of the way, I think it's time to get some rest since its getting late." He then turned to the Saiyan. "Goku do you have a place to stay?"
"Yeah I do Master" simply said Goku with a cheerful tone towards Makarov who just smiled at this
"Well I'll see you at the guild tomorrow. Maybe you could do your first job." said Makarov as he waved back at Goku and stared to make his way back home followed by Natsu and Gray. However the Dragon Slayer turned his head around and pointed at Goku with a grin
"Oi Goku! Don't forget about training us. I'll be waiting for it so i can fight you again!" state Natsu towards Goku who just chuckle at this, it reminded him when he was younger and his ambitions to be the greatest amongst the world martial artists.
"Don't worry Natsu I won't forget about the training!" replied back Goku with a smirk on his face and waved back at the mages.
As everyone said goodbye to each other, Goku stared to concentrate to see if there's any good landscape where he can put his new house. In a few second he teleported and reappeared in a landscape devoid of trees which was near a river with clean water which would help Goku with his farming. From his pocket he took out a case where there was a few capsules given from his childhood friend Bulma. He found the capsule that contained the house and pressed the button and launches it a few meters away from him and smoke stared to form at the area.
As the smoke stared to die down he could see a house that looked exactly like his house back on Earth with a Gravity Room that came included with as an added bonus. He started to make his way inside to the kitchen to get some 'snack' and to his luck the freezer was filled with eatables.
"Geez. I wish Bulma could have put more food in this fridge" commented Goku to himself as he was contemplating the food and grabbed a bunch of food and made his way to the room where he would sleep.
After a few minutes there was nothing but wraps of food, cans of drinks and even ice cream laying down on his floor as he was changed to his white tank top and boxers exposing his furry tail and most of his toned, big muscles. He clapped two times to turn off the lights and looked at the ceiling
"I wonder what else I would experience tomorrow" said Goku to himself as he drifted away to his sleep wonderland.
{Scene Change... Next Morning}
It was almost noon and Goku was in his way to the guild, walking in his casual clothes he wore when he farmed with Chi-Chi and sometimes Goten. It was composed of a white scarf, similar to Natsu's, around his neck, a long sleeve unbuttoned shirt with a black tank top under that shirt and cargo pants that had the same colour of his unbuttoned shirt (A/N: It's the same one he usually wears in Dragon Ball Super when it is a time of peace) It was also his second favourite outfit beside his favourite blue gi.
The reason he was coming this late was because he was training under 500x Gravity on Earth is his Base Form trying to dodge light-speed laser, fighting with a clone of him he created thanks to the Multiplication technique and of course launching multiple ki blast and Kamehameha to himself to increase his resistance. Thanks to his godly energy running through his body he was healed with no problems and gained a little zenkai boost.
After few minutes of walking he managed to reach the Guild. He proceeded to open the door casually and he saw everyone doing their stuff except he couldn't sense Natsu, Gray or even Lucy but none of less he was excited to be here.
"Hey everyone!" said Goku out loud as he gained the attention of almost everyone and they waved back at him. He started to make his way to the bar reception where Mirajane was cleaning some mugs. The white haired barmaid noticed the Super Saiyan coming towards this way making her heart skip a beat again.
"Why do I always have this feeling every time I see him? Besides the obvious, he looks good in that outfit despite not exposing his big arms and... Wait get it together Mira!" thought Mirajane to herself as she shook her head and watched Goku sitting down. "Hey Goku-kun, what can I help you with?"
"Hey Mira-chan! I just came back from my morning training and I'm really starving so can I get everything from the menu!" asked Goku with a nervous smile as he was holding with his right stomach his hunger making Mirajane chuckle cutely
"Don't worry, I'll make the food right away. Just sit tight" said Mirajane as she went inside the kitchen that was behind the Bar. Meanwhile Goku started to concentrate his sensing abilities around Magnolia to find Lucy, Natsu, Happy and Gray. However, he couldn't find their energies so he decided to ask Mirajane.
"Mira-chan! Do you know where Natsu, Gray, Lucy or even Happy are? I'm trying to find them but it seems that I can't seense them" said Goku out loud so Mirajane could hear from the kitchen
"Natsu, Happy and Lucy went on mission together earlier and Gray left a few hours for a solo mission. Both of them are outside the city if you're wondering." Yelled Mirajane from the kitchen as she was still cooking.
"Oh. I should of have come early to go on a mission, Well don't matter anymore! I can go on a mission by myself" said Goku retorted a bit loudly so that it was also audible to Mirajane who chuckled at this.
After fifteen minutes of waiting impatiently, Goku saw 25 large-sized plates fill with delicious food coming out from the kitchen. He took out some chopsticks and said 'ikadatimus' before he stared to devour all of the food at such speed that shocked everyone in the guild in a kind of disgusting way since he had little to no manners while eating, Meanwhile at the deep end of the bar Cana was sipping her barrel-sized beer and noticed all the plates that were empty. She turned her face to see where they were coming from and saw it was the hottie she met yesterday. It could be her chance to interact with him since Mirajane was doing her stuff
She grabbed her barrel and made her way to the seat that was available next to Goku. The saiyan was about to finish his last plate that was a bowl of miso ramen when he notice a Brown haired women sitting next to him with such a gaze that reminded him of how Mirajane was looking at him today and Chi-chi in the old days. He finished slurping down the ramen and put down the bowl.
"I'm sorry, I was too focused on eating that I didn't notice you sitting next to me. My name is Son Goku but people just call me Goku" said Goku with a smile as he was now fully looking at the Card's mage. She had very little on her top which consisted of a blue top and brown jeans. However in his point of view it kinda suited her. Cana noticed that he was eyeing her and it made her smirk and lick her lower lip as she got a little bit closer to him.
"The name is Cana Alberona sweetie. Have people told you that you have a nice charming smile?" asked Cana with a teasing tone in her voice making the Saiyan God laugh sheepishly and scratching the back of his head.
"Yeah I do get that a lot" Shot back Goku towards the Card's mage who was eyeing down the Saiyan.
"My Kami! He's really charming with that smile of his, and despite wearing all those clothes I can tell his muscles are a sight to behold." thought Cana to herself as she could tell that despite the long sleeve shirt he was wearing the muscle were still present around his arms making her somewhat aroused but she repressed it quickly "So what do you say, Me and you, a competition of drinking beer and the one who loose will have to listen to the winner"
While this conversation was going on Mirajane was behind all the barrels of Beer that were covering her but she could see their interactions. She was kinda glad that Goku was naive as a rock towards Cana. However the brown haired mage wasn't a person who gave up easily and Mirajane knew this. It made her jealous that the Saiyan God was talking with other women

"Even if I had never drunk beer before I would love to take you up on that challenge" replied Goku somewhat excited in him tone making Cana's 'hungry' smirk grew a bit "However I want to try to take a mission for the first time. I'll bring you the mission that I want to take Mira-chan."
"Alright Goku-kun there is no rush" replied back Mirajane with a sweet smile towards the Saiyan who just stood up from his position and went to the Mission Board where the normal mages usually get their missions. He stared to scan for something interesting and saw something that had a lot of zeroes which meant more money and brought it back to Mirajane who stared to scan through it. She was kinda surprised of the mission he wanted to take

"Are you sure you want to take this mission Goku-kun? This is an A-Class Mission that requires partners to do it" asked Mirajane towards the Saiyan with a worried face. She knew that Goku was strong but A-Class Missions weren't something to take lightly.
"Nah! I want a good challenge and if it's an A-Class Mission I'm up for the quest! Besides you saw my match against Natsu and from what Makarov told me he's ranked around high B-Class to mid A-Class Mage" Stated Goku as he was stretching his arms and legs in the similar fashion he always does before a match
"Very well then. I won't doubt you Goku. I will let the town mayor know that you're on your way to do the mission" explained Mirajane with a warmly smile of her face and gave back the Saiyan the paper "Also don't forget that the village is called Crestwood and it's located on the East of Fiore"
"That's awesome! I'll be able to finish this a few hours" Said Goku as he started to make his way out of the guild "Alright see ya in a couple hours girls!"
"Don't forget about our challenge Goku!" yelled Cana towards the Saiyan who just lifted up his thumb to made her sure that he won't forget "Son Goku, I promise you will fall for me and I'll make you mine before any of these girls make their first move."
"Despite not knowing what I want from Goku. I can't let Cana get her hands on him. She could be capable of doing a lot of 'stuff' that isn't appropriative" thought the White Haired mage.
{Scene Change... Crestwood... East of... Fiore...}
Goku was flying through the clouds, at Hyper-sonic speeds, to the city called Crestwood, which was six hours away from Magnolia by train. But thanks to his training at gravities much higher than that of normal, that he had been doing all his life, he made it to the town in less than 10 minutes. The Saiyan God saw an important building in the middle of the city which he made out to be that of the Major's building. He slowly descended near the entrance of the building and proceed to go inside.
Inside the building, he saw the Mayor who was a man in his 50's with greyish hair seated down, signing papers and some documents.
"Umm... Hello sir. My name is Son Goku and I'm a member of Fairy Tail." He spoke up earning the attention of the mayor. "I saw the job request, that you posted at the guild about requiring assistance in eliminating a Dark Guild" Goku continued in his normal tone towards the Mayor, who was taken aback to see the 'mage' arrive this fast to his town for the mission.
"Hello young man, I'm Miguel. Mayor of the City of Crestwood." He stood up and greeted the Saiyan God. "I just want to say Thank you for coming this fast to help us protecting the city from the Dark Guild that has been terrorizing us." The Mayor walked towards the Saiyan. A wide grin spread across his face.
"No problem Miguel-san! I'm just doing my job." Goku returned with the trademark son grin. "I will help you in eliminating this dark guild!" He stated Boosting the confidence of the mayor by leaps and bounds.
"So" Goku composed himself to get into the heat of the matter. "What is the name of this Guild and where is it located?"
"They are called the Grim Reapers and from what my sources had been telling me, they are located in the outskirts of the City." The mayor began, his countenance changing to meet the gravity of the problem. "Those bastards always come to steal our food and valuables! And if we try to conduct trade with other cities they threaten to burn down the entire population!" His visage was that of a grieving man and his tone complimented that. "I don't know what to do but please you're our only hope!" He started to kneel down in front the Saiyan.
"Those Bastards! Terrorizing innocent people for their own twisted fun?!" The Super Saiyan clenched his fists with fury brimming in his eyes as the thoughts of the helpless citizens occupied his mind.
Turning to the mayor with a kind smile, he added. "Don't worry Miguel-san I'll get rid of them as soon as possible!"
"Thank you so much Goku-san! Our citizens and I will be grateful forever if you finish them off!" The Mayor regained the colour on his face.
Goku bid his farewell to the mayor and moved out of the building. At the moment he got outside, he began to use his Sensory Abilities to pinpoint the exact location of the dark guild. It took him few second before he felt hundreds of lower power levels from the west. Wasting no time at all, he locked onto one of those energies and used Instant Transmission to teleport himself out of the view and onto the site of the guild.
In the next second, he reappeared on an open field surrounded by trees and dense vegetation. He turned his head to right where he noticed a big, black coloured castle with the sign which read 'Grim Reapers' on the top of the gates.
"Well talk about being discrete..." The Super Saiyan mused to himself as a small smirk began to form on his visage. He walked towards the gates of the dark guild and a sly grin replaced the smirk on his face. "I'll give them a good welcoming, Saiyan Style!"
In the next moment, the Saiyan God using one hand released a massive gust of wind with his potent Ki, dismantling the entire gate of the guild. Goku moved inside the structure. As he reached in, he saw hundreds of people, with their gaze fixated on him, which emanated shock and anger for taking down the door without any warning. Not something the saiyan cared about in the slightest.
"Who the hell is he?'" A member of the Guild spat out, glaring daggers towards Goku
"It's that a Monkey Tail wrapped around his waist?" Another stated out of curiosity to yet another member out loud.
"I'm Son Goku, a member of the wizard guild, Fairy Tail." The saiyan retorted in a authoritative tone. "I came here to take all of you down for terrorizing the citizens of Crestwood!" Goku's intimidating tone sent shivers down the spines of a few weak willed ones. The Saiyan then assumed his signature battle stance, turtle hermit stance. Still, majority of the guild members began to laugh hysterically at this statement but it failed to bother Goku the slightest.
"Go ahead and try boy." A burly looking member came upto him with a threatening look. "We have more than four-hundred guild members making us the biggest in Fiore! You won't stand a chance." He stated with an evil smirk as he dashed towards him for the kill, However Goku just teleported behind him and gave him a chop to his pressure points, thus knocking him out much to the shock and dismay of the others.
"Bring it." Goku taunted the rest with a challenging smirk His eyes tracking the movements of each and every one without them noticing it.
The comment itself made the four-hundred members of the Guild lunge straight at Goku with full intent on killing him. The Saiyan God just kept flashing an audacious grin and just his sheer speed, not enhanced by his Ki was enough to knock out all of them at Hyper-sonic speeds, by punching them in whatever part of their pressure points in their bodies and thus knocking them, out out-cold. It was a total One-sided Annihilation. The rest of the Guild members who were witnessing the act were in utterly awe and developed immense fear of his pure speed and martial arts proficiency that made him deadly. (A/N: Imagine the same scene of Madara vs The Shinobi Alliance when he first arrived but without weapons). Just after two minutes, Goku was finished with all of the guild members.
From the second floor, Goku could sense the energy of a dark eyed, broad shouldered, muscular figure. He was the Guild Master of Grim Reaper known as Jeremy. Seeing that his entire guild were defeated, he moved down from the second floor and came in view of the saiyan.
"A Teenager boy defeated the entire Grim Reaper single-handedly?!" The guild master of Grim Reaper was in total awe. "Just who the hell are you boy!" The words that escaped him did justice to the appalled visage that was visible on his face. He jumped from the second floor landing a few meters next to Goku, who got into his battle position.
"I'm Goku and I guess you are the Guild Master of this dark guild, eh?" Goku responded, without taking his eyes off him.
"Indeed I am... My name is Jeremy and I think this party is over Goku!" Jeremy yelled out in anger as he dashed at a blinding pace towards the saiyan. But in the eyes of the saiyan God, his speed was not even comparable to that of a turtle. He dodged his attacks with relative ease and then he used his superior hyper-sonic speed to appear behind him and land a chop on his neck knocking him out.
"Well that was easier than I thought." Goku scratched his chin. "They didn't even make me use more than 1% of my Base Form power" He crossed his arms in disappointment as a sigh escaped him. "I gotta tell the Mayor that I'm done with the job"
Goku then used his Instant Transmission to teleport back to the Mayor's Building he encountered earlier. Going up to the Mayor's office, he informed Miguel of everything that had transpired. Miguel's Jaw almost dropped down on the floor when he heard that this Fairy Tail mage had finished with the job so quickly and had dispatched off all the members of the dark guild including the guild master with ease. At first he didn't believe it since it was impossible to do it in such a a short time but Goku teleported him to the Dark Guild and made him lay eyes upon all the knocked out members of the dark guild, Including the Guild Master! They were definitely going to put this in the News Paper across the country. After that the Mayor gave Goku the one million jewels as the reward. Goku accepted the reward and voiced his gratitude before he made his way back to the guild.
{Scene Change... Fairy Tail Guild..}
"I'm back everyone!" Goku stated out loud as he entered to the guild and made his way to the bar table where Mira was cleaning some mugs. The white-haired barmaid noticed the Saiyan God returning with a bag of money on his waist, which surprised her.
"Wow Goku-kun! You managed to do the mission in less than an hour" Mirajane said in a surprised tone as she puts down the last clean mug and took a sip of water.
"Yeah, It was easier than I thought. They were not that big a deal." Goku gave her his goofy grin. "They were called the Grim Reapers by the way" He added casually as he sat down.
He then noticed that Mirajane spit out the water she was sipping on in shock after hearing his comment and stare at him like if he was crazy. "Did I say something wrong?" Goku shot back in a concerned tone.
"Did you say the 'Grim Reapers'?!" The White-haired barmaid retorted still in shock, towards Goku who raised his eyebrow out of curiosity.
"Yeah that's their name, what about it?" The saiyan responded still unable to comprehend the situation.
"The Grim Reapers are one of the largest Dark guilds in the country with multiple B-Class Mages to almost A-Class Mages. Just how did you beat them within the spam of an hour?!" exclaimed Mirajane in awe towards Goku who just laughed sheepishly at that.
"Hahaha! What can I say about it? I just don't know my own strength" said the Saiyan God as he scratched the back of his neck casually. "Hey Mira-chan... Mind if i ask you a question even if it's personal?"
"Eh... sure go ahead" The white haired model nervously responded with a nervous expression, since she had no clue on what kind of personal question Goku would be asking about.
"I'm aware at the fact that you're a bartender. However... I'm sensing a high energy of magic that surpasses Natsu and Gray sealed inside you. What's up with that?" asked Goku with curiosity on his face. The fact that he noticed this, made the White Haired Barmaid widen her eyes due to the sudden jolt. Her mood turned a total one eighty and her face showcased depression. It made the Saiyan God feel bad of himself for asking that question "You don't have to tell if it really bothers you."
"No it's fine... It wouldn't be fair to leave you in the dark." Mirajane somehow forced that beautiful smile of hers back. "Meanwhile, everyone else in the guild knows about it." Mirajane resumed, her voice was soft and barely audible to even the saiyan. "Well... It all started..."
Then she began narrating all the incidents that had transpired from how she came to Fairy Tail with her brother Elfman and Lissana, her younger sister. She explained how she used to 'tease' people specially Natsu and get in brawls with her rival at that time, Erza. Goku was a bit gaped when she told him that she was a S-Class mage.
Mirajane continues her story on how she became a S-Class Mage at age of 16 impressing the Saiyan God. He complimented her about her strength and conviction for achieving the status of s class at such a young age. Then, the White Haired Barmaid started to tell him about that night when everything changed when they were requested for an emergency S-Class Mission in which Elfman lost control of himself using Take-Over Magic on a beast and Lissana who tried to snap him out of it, failed miserably and she was launched with such force that killed her. By the time Mirajane got to the word she already 'passed' away, she was already bawling her eyes out. After a few days she sealed her powers away for not being strong and remembering about that night and has been a Barmaid for the last two years.
"And that's how... I became a barmaid and sealed my *sniffs* powers" finished Mirajane as she tried really hard to contain her tears from falling down her eyes but to no avail. The Saiyan God was really touched by Mirajane's narration and how she was treated as a 'Demon' in her home village and how she lost her sister forever. He could sympathize in that aspect when he thought Krillin died at the hands of Frieza but he found out later that he could be revived by the Dragon Balls from Namek. But here, they didn't have that luxury of reviving their loved ones. They are gone for good.
At that thought Goku stood up from his seat and jumped to the other side of the bar table where Mirajane was still cleaning up her tears, For some reason he wasn't a person who would confront people like this but his instincts were telling him to go for it and embrace her. The White Haired Barmaid felt a warm but strong hands wrapped around her waist. She looked up and saw Goku with his eyes close, hugging her causing a slight blush formed on her face.
"I'm sorry about your loss. It pains me to know that she is not with us in this world and cannot be revived." Goku said in a consoling manner. His visage and his tone indicated the feelings of sadness he harboured in his heart. "However from what you said about Lissana she sounds like a pretty nice girl who cheered you and Natsu up. I believe that she would be proud if you have moved on about the past like Natsu did despite still holding feelings about her. And if you need someone in your journey, I will be always by your side. His lips had curved to form a warm smile as he held Mirajane closely.
The White Haired Barmaid was shocked by his little speech and how caring he was towards her. He was right, her little sister wouldn't be happy that she was still putting up a mask to hide her feelings about her death when Elfman and Natsu along with Happy had moved on, despite holding those feelings deep inside. If she wanted to make a difference for herself and the rest, she needed to start changing and find a way to regain her powers. After pondering about all that she looked up to Goku, to see he was looking at her. Both of them in deep thought as they looked each other in the face, their eyes locked together. Hell! They could even feel their hearts beat much faster.
"The strange feeling came back again... However I have such a desire to collide with her" thought Goku deeply as he was moving closer to her face in slow motion making the white haired mage nervous and blush heavily.
"Oh no I really do have feelings for him and he's going for it too!... You know what... I'll just will embrace it and let things flow since i have a sudden desire to kiss him." Mirajane reflected within her, as she closed her eyes and she too began to lean in closer to him. Both of them could literally feel their warm breaths colliding on their lips. They were already an inch away from kissing, however it was interrupted by a certain Dragon Slayer.
"Hey Goku! Where have you been?" Natsu Dragneel bellowed out to the saiyan God. "We were looking everywhere for you!" Both Saiyan and Mage turned their heads around to see Natsu with a grin on his face followed by a gloomy Lucy and Happy laying down on her head "Wait.. What are you guys doing?"
Both Goku and Mirajane notice how closed their bodies were and with their instincts kicking in they separated themselves, a pink tint on the Saiyan's face and a blush on the White haired barmaid's who looked down at the ground, embarrassed.
"We were just talking about life! Nothing else here right Mira-chan?" stated Goku laughing nervously as he jumped back to the other side and sat down next to the Dragon Slayer who was still looking at him with curiosity. 'It's like out of nowhere my Saiyan instincts took over and tried to do what I did with Chi-Chi when we married'
"Um... Yeah that's right." replied Mirajane in a hushed tone, but loud enough for Natsu and Goku to hear. The Fire Mage just shrugged at this, not caring to continue about this making Mirajane exasperate in relief. 'Thank Kami that he's dense when it comes to romance. The same could be said for Goku-kun. However, he acted so different than his usual cheerful act not that I care anyway.'
"Anyways we just came back from the mission and boy it was fun." continued Natsu in an excited and cheerful tone as he received an 'Aye' from the flying blue cat.
"Yeah fun for you!" yelled Lucy as she sat down on the left side of Goku "How could you let go to waste Two Millions of Jewells when we could have gone the easier way to just burn a book and not say nothing!"
"Wait so how was the first official mission with Natsu, Lucy?" asked the Saiyan God with curiosity, towards the Celestial Mage who was leaning on the table.
"Horrible! We successfully completed the mission." She paused to heave a sigh before continuing in the same tone. "However the idiot didn't want to accept the money since we didn't 'burn' the book" Lucy was glaring daggers at the Dragon Slayer who just looked at her with false innocence plastered across his face.
"But you got yourself a Celestial Spirit Key and read all of that book you were so invested in." added Natsu to the conversation to cheer up his partner, but it didn't helped in accomplishing anything.
"Still! I just wanted the money to pay the rent this month!" Lucy pointed her finger at the pink haired mage with annoyance on her face.
"Man that must a bummer. Don't worry Lucy I'll help you with the money issue since I got a Million on me." Goku began with that trademark son grin on his face. "I can give you half of what I have" He added as he took out from his pocket a heavy brown bag with a lot of money in it. Grabbing half of it, he gave it to Lucy. In the next the Super Saiyan found himself being hugged tightly by the Celestial Mage.
"Oh my Kami! Thank you so much Goku for this Money! You just saved me." Her tone showcased the level of jubilation she was experiencing. "I'll repay you in any way!" yelled Lucy happily as she hugged the shit out of Goku who just smiled casually. On the other side of the bar table, Mirajane saw this contact and felt slightly jealous about it but just ignored it since the Celestial Mage separated herself with a tint pink on her cheeks for her act.
"By the way Goku, Where did you gain so much money from? Did you go on a solo mission that fast.?" asked Natsu attracting the attention of Goku.
"Now that you're mentioning it yeah I did go on a solo mission! It wasn't that much but I had to take down a dark guild called the Grim Reapers" stated the Saiyan God shocking both Natsu, Lucy and Happy who dropped his fish in surprise.
"The Grim Reapers!? But how? They are the largest dark guild in Fiore with over four-hundred active mages!" The Dragon Slayer yelled out in sudden jolt, towards Goku, who just scratched his head sheepishly.
"Like I said to Mira-chan I really don't know my true strength, he he" He replied in a care-free manner making the girls sweat-drop.
"Truthfully, it is very concerning that you could SINGLE-HANDILY defeat a guild with four-hundred people with a such amount of short time!" exclaimed Lucy concerned about the depths of Goku's power followed by an 'Aye' from Happy.
"Well I'm not surprised since I know Goku is strong to even go toe-to-toe to with our Ace! That's why I can't wait to have another round with him!" Natsu cut in with an excited tone and a challenging grin on his face. Suddenly he felt an Ice Hammer taking him down from his chair and he collided head first on to the floor comically. "Aw the fuck is going on!"
"Don't let your guard down flame-brain." A mocking tone came from behind. "Besides, you wouldn't even able to reach the power Goku possess on his arsenal. From what I can remember, he treated you like a baby," Natsu stood up from where he landed and glared comically at the person who hit him with the Ice Hammer on his head. It was none other than Gray who had on a smug face. The Dragon Slayer ran towards him and stood face to face where they stared at each other with anger and annoyance prevalent on their visage.
"How about you shut the fuck up Ice Freak! You can't even hold a candle against me and especially against Goku" exclaimed Natsu at his rival as he collided his head with Gray's and slightly push him back.
"Oh fuck off you Lizard, You can't beat me anyway." Gray shot back as he pushed back the Dragon Slayer with his head to the same position where they stared it.
"PINKY!"
"ELSA!"
"And here they go again with their taunts" said Goku to himself as he was chuckling witnessing their their interactions. Then he felt a power level coming towards the guild and surprisingly it was higher than Natsu and Gray's. He knew that it was human but it was strong at its own right that could rival Kame Sennin at his prime. "Maybe it's that person 'Erza' that is known for her S-Class power and attitude that Mira-Chan has been telling me."
Suddenly the doors were bursted open revealing an orange haired mage, Loke breathing hard and sweat coming down his face
"GUYS! ERZA IS COMING BACK TO THE GUILD!" yelled Loke at the top of his lungs attracting everyone's attention from what they were doing. For a couple seconds nobody moved and then the whole guild stared to panic except Mirajane. Lucy and Goku, the Saiyan God were surprised to see that even Natsu and Gray stopped fighting and ran around comically.
"Why is everyone suddenly acting so freaked out about this 'Erza' person" asked the Celestial Mage out loud desperate to know how one individual can make the whole guild act like babies.
"From what I have heard from Mira-chan and briefly from Master, she's the strongest S-Class Female of the guild and some peers even said she's the strongest woman in the country at the moment," explained the Saiyan God towards the Celestial mage from what he knew about Erza thanks to the talk he had with Makarov yesterday night and today from Mira's backstory. "And from the looks of it she's strong in her own right "I wish to have a spar with her to test her abilities"
"Also she's the scariest woman since she treats her guildmates so violently when they do not behave, that's why they call her a monster" commented Mirajane with a smile since she hadn't seen Erza in a while and it would be good to talk to her, However she was left both Saiyan God and Celestial Mage with the picture that Erza was a scary monster with gigantic horns on her head.
"Scary!" both Lucy and Goku thought comically shaking their heads. However their imaginations were short lived when the gates of the Guild opened up revealing a person being covered by the shadow of what she was holding. When the figure started to make the way to the middle of the guild it revealed a red scarlet haired person with an Armour and a blue skirt an on her waist, she had on a sword. She was known as Erza Scarlet aka the Fairy Queen.
"So that's Erza... Man I never knew she was this stunning as Mira-chan." Goku mused upon his impression of the scarlet haired mage. "However why do I feel bad vibes on how my wife used to treat me when I didn't behave coming from her." The Saiyan God continued to ponder as his view was only focusing on the S-Class Mage who was looking around the guildmates with a serious expression and spoke up, out loud.
"From what I have been hearing from my mission Fairy Tail has been behaving really recklessly. Master might be able to forgive all of you but I won't" said Erza in a firm tone but yet scary for everyone. For the next five minutes she started to scold her guildmates who had made a mistake. Goku could literally imagine the soul of Chi-Chi being inside the Red-haired mage making him shiver comically. After her scolding session, Erza made her ways to where Mirajane was, completely ignoring the Saiyan God,
"Hey Mira, do you know where Master is? I need to talk to him about something important." Erza continued without hesitation towards the White haired barmaid who just smiled casually.
"Master is at his meeting with the other Guild Masters, he will take a few days to comeback." stated Mirajane towards the red head who sighed in reply.
"Alright then, I guess I have no choice... Natsu! Gray! Come over here this instant!" yelled Erza firmly, her action causing both Dragon Slayer and Ice Mage to hug each other with nervous smiles on their faces and sweating comically, making Goku and even Lucy with Happy chuckle at this.
"What's up Erza? What do you need and just to let you know we are treating each other like best friends. Isn't that right Natsu" said Gray trying to hold maintain his composure and looked at Natsu who just nodded.
"AYE!" followed the Dragon Slayer with a happy-like voice making Lucy laugh out loud seeing how scared he was in front of Erza.
"That's good to know... Now I will need both of your powers for this important mission. Will you come with me?" The scarlet-haired mage directed towards the duo with a serious visage, making both mages to cease hugging each other but still nervous.
"Of course Erza why wouldn't I" exclaimed Gray nervous but was thinking something else altogether in his mind "Damn it, now I have to deal with this fire breather in this mission!"
"Yes Mam!" followed Natsu with the same expression that his rival had but he too had something else in mind "Fuck! Dealing with popsicle won't be fun."
"Why would Erza, one of the strongest mages in our guild would ask for help especially from Natsu and Gray?" thought Mirajane with curiosity since Erza was mostly a solo-mission person and not a team-mission type. She saw the red haired mage leaving the bar and before she could reach the doors she looked one last time at both mages.
"I'm glad to hear that both of you will come with me. Just don't be late." finished Erza as she made her ways outside of the guild leaving everyone scared. After a few moment everything went back to normal making Natsu and Gray resume with their session of stupid comebacks at each other.
"Talk about being scary... she surely is one with everyone." commented Lucy as she watched the whole thing with Erza and made herself a mental note to not mess with her.
"I agree with you." added Goku who gulped comically. Despite being millions of times stronger than her, there was one thing he couldn't beat… The Woman's wrath!
"Hey guys I have an idea, Why don't both of you go with Natsu and Gray to this mission and help Erza" Mirajane shifted her attention towards the Saiyan God and the Celestial Mage who were taken aback by this sudden request.
"Wait what?! Why do you want me to go?!" Lucy sweated nervously. After everything she witnessed, she was in no mood to go on a mission with them.
"To keep the boys from fighting at each and every moment since Erza hates their meaningless taunts. As for Goku-kun I believe it would be a good chance to know Erza's fighting skills and power from an S-Class" explained the white haired barmaid towards both of them
"Awesome count me in! I want to see up close her abilities so I can ask for a sparing match" answered Goku with exciment on his tone of voice
"Well.. I guess i have no choice to join in as well" answered Lucy as she shook her head to have so many power houses in this mission.. it could go really bad
"Alright since both of you have decided to go, I'll let Erza know that both of you will go to the mission" replied Mirajane with a happy face towards both of them "Goku-kun... just be careful, that's all I'm asking"
{Scene Change... Magnolia Train Station... Next Morning}
"I can't believe I have to work with this stripper. I could have done this by myself" These were the thoughts of Natsu Dragneel at the moment which he made no effort to be kept inside as he yelled it out loud to Gray Fullbuster besides him. This resulted in another staring contest between the two mages.
"Yeah! Erza made a huge mistake to bring you here Fire Lizard" Gray shot back with returning it with the same comical angry tone. Meanwhile Goku who was back to his Blue Gi and accessories, Lucy who was holding her Celestial Spirit called plue and Happy who was eating his morning fish, watched the happenings from the side-lines sitting down on the bench.
"This is embarrassing." Lucy sighed to herself as she kept looking down to Plue, in an effort to delude the people to make them think she's not with these ruffians.
"That's Natsu and Gray for you! They don't care about the location at all." Happy added as he kept munching on his fish.
"Well I think it's entertaining to see them go at each other for the moment while we wait for Erza to show up." Goku added further into it as he had both his hands behind his head in a relaxing state. Then he felt Erza coming to his direction. He shifted his gaze towards her and suddenly it took him by surprise. The reason for this was the ridiculous amount of luggage she was carrying with her. As for Lucy, she almost choked at seeing the absurd quantity of Erza's luggage.
"So much luggage!" Lucy's astonished voice escaped her attracting the attention of the S-Class Mage who made her ways towards Lucy and Goku, who in turn stood up from their seats.
"I believed that both of you were sent by Mirajane to accompany me, Natsu and Gray." Erza Scarlet deduced this from the presence of the two extra individuals as she approached them. "I'm Erza Scarlet and it's nice to meet you" She extended her hand towards them with a small smile. Lucy began to feel at ease next to Erza and shook her hand.
"Nice to meet you Erza-san. My name is Lucy and I'm still new to Fairy Tail so it's an honour to go on a mission with you" She stated in a meek and hurried tone with a beam to accompany it. As both girls shook hands, the Celestial Mage could feel the tight grip that it hurt her and Erza noticed it.
"Sorry I didn't mean to use so much pressure." The scarletress retorted in an atoning tone.
"Anyways" Erza resumed with her countenance changing to meet what she was about to say. "I heard that you defeated 19 Vulcans from Mt Hakobe, I'm impressed by that feat." This surprised Lucy to no end, to hear such a rumour that wasn't even close to being true. Goku was the one who took down a Vulcan with ease.
"Not even close from what you really know buddy." The Celestial Mage echoed in her mind chuckling. Then she noticed that Erza had her gaze on Goku.
"And who you might be?" Erza questioned the saiyan with curiosity laced in her voice.
"The name is Son Goku, but you can called me Goku!" Goku responded extending his hands towards her. "Like Lucy I'm also new to the Fairy Tail guild and I'm glad to be you're partner in this mission" He had a smile on his face as he continued.
"Such a charming smile... Wait. What am I thinking? I just met him! Alright Erza just act normal..." The Queen of Fairies had her thoughts fumbling for a bit before she composed herself and accepted the hand shake.
She shook her head and looked at Goku. "I heard rumours that it was you who took down the biggest Dark Guild in the country single-handedly. I have to admit I'm impressed by that feat. I might even ask you for a sparring match after we are done"
"Of course! I would love to have a sparring match with you and see your abilities" Goku replied back with a challenging smirk on his face. Despite not having the raw power to even equal him in his base form he would love to learn how they fight with experience and magic at the same time. His thoughts were abruptly cut short when Natsu appeared in front of both of them
"Oi Goku! I wanted to challenge Erza to see if I have improved these last months!" Natsu's voice was filled with restlessness. "I have some business I have to deal with her" exclaimed Natsu out loud enough to be heard by the whole group. Erza got annoyed by his loud-mouth attitude and proceeded to hit him but Goku immediately put his hands in front of her surprising the red haired mage.
"How about this Natsu. Why don't the three of us go Free for all and see who stands the most, It makes the challenge more interesting don't you think?" Goku tried to convince the Dragon Slayer. This made him stand in silence for a while and then out of nowhere he doused in hands with fire and was brimming with excitement.
"Yosh! I accept the challenge! I'll show you once more the true power of a Dragon Slayer" Natsu stated displaying the intense level of excitement burning up inside him.
"What do you say Erza? Are you still in?" Goku turned to Erza.
"Very well then... I shall accept the challenge, But for now we have to get into the train so we can't lose it" Erza answered, bringing back into the minds of the listeners, the gravity of the situation they had to deal with as she proceeded to move towards the train with her stuff, immediately followed by the rest of the Team.
At the moment the train stared to move the Dragon Slayer got his usual motion sickness and had to be carried by Gray to the seats. As they sat down in their respective seats, Goku began to gaze at the horizon and a certain thought occupied his mind.
"I feel things will get more interesting from now on."
