Amber's eyes widened when she looked at everyone,"What's going on?" She asked, perplexed.
A man jumped off his horse and stood in front of them. He had a long beard and was almost bald on top. He fixed the collar of his shirt, "Now I'm not gonna ask again. Where do you hide the food?!" He shouted his voice echoing even from where they were at.
He bent his head to stare at them,"Yet again no answers." And when no one replied he clicked his finger and one of his men swung his sword back, slicing an innocent man's head off, blood splashing everywhere.
"No." Amber turned into Ambrose's shoulder, trying her best not to scream or let her sobs fill the air.
"Hey, hey...breathe." He massaged her head and rubbed circles in her back.
She looked up at him,"We need to help them."
"We can't, not yet." Connor told her and she shook her head at all of them.
"We have too." She remained determined.
"It's too risky. They'll kill us." Liam frowned.
