Randy immediately dropped the torch and sped outside and Arveion's jaw tick, about to go after him but Amber grabbed onto his shin. The situation bought him memories and he hated that she's once again caught up in a hheartbreaking situation.
"Please let it go." He raised her head to look at him and as soon as he saw her puffy eyes and frightened blank face, he stopped and crouched down to her.
"This." He pointed to face,"Is why I can't. I'm sorry but I'm not letting that asshole go." He sighed, anger still written on his blank face.
"No, he's old." She laughed but it didn't reach her eyes,"Not in a bad way but you know what I mean. And no one deserves death...I'm okay, right?"
"I—"He started but she stared directly in his eyes and he sighed,"I'm going to go break all the bones in his body...if he lives then he lives but if he doesn't….he doesn't." He shrugged before running off, hating that he didn't listen to her but that time he just couldn't.
