Amber watched on as Arsan took her over, now that the cut was clean. He scrolled through the pages, his eyes dilating over every word as he recites the right information.
His index stopped on a page, "I'll need you to hold her hands." He glanced at her over the pages, and Amber nodded with her mother's hands squeezed in hers.
She had no idea what he was doing but she trusted that he would help her. He was perhaps her mother's only hope.
"There's a lot of mysteries in the world, Miss Lane, including what you're about to witness right now, I only trust that you'll use this information for good and not put it out to the wrong persons." Arsan closed his eyes, whispering words under his breath when he placed his hand out.
The words rolled off his tongue, the book tightly held in one hand and his mind focused on the opponent when magically an immense green glow erupted from his hands, filling the room to proximity.
