"Amber?! Amber?! Wake up, come on!" Amber felt a hand across her cheek, only hard enough to wake her up. She flew up and looked around the room, wincing from the light like a deer lost in headlights when she opened her eyes. She looked around the room, her breathing picking up but before she could panic she saw him.
"Hey, I'm right here." Arsan placed a hand on her shoulder from the other side of the bed and she wrapped her hands around him.
"Arsan." She cried and he massaged her back.
He spoke into her neck, "It's okay. I'm here. I'm here. And we're home. We're back at the Castle, you see." He lifted her chin and showed her around the room.
"Yeah." She placed her head back into her shoulder, "I'm sorry. I told you that I would be back. I'm sorry if I cut your trip short, if you didn't have enough time at the library because of me."
