Amber gripped the sheets to stop the throbbing headache. She massaged her temples feeling the pressure build up in that spot and her hands were trembling as she tried to bring herself to the bedhead. She sprawled out on the bed, going a great distance to the end and then coming to the conclusion that it wasn't hers. Her bed wasn't as close to being that big.
She held her head in her palms, why was body in such pain. She felt weak. She then brushed her finger along her lips that were somehow in burning heat. 'Did I fall off the bed, or something?' She thought and then decided to open her eyes, feeling as if there were weights sticking it down. Once they were open, her ache increased by the light of the room and her blurred eyes.
She squinted her eyes close and then opened them again, watching as little black dots return to her normal vision. Once they were evened out and she could see everything she nearly screamed.
