He decided to spend time in the park. He was having no engagement. He removed his maid to cut costs and did all house work including cooking. He tried to talk to Uma who was attending to Sushama as a favor to him. He couldn't talk as his phone battery was exhausted.
"I think my phone has gone low like enthusiasm." Raghav thought and recalled one incident when his wife told sarcastically about his indulgence with some young lecturer in college. She doubted that Sunita was taking interest in him and tried developing an affair.
"I thought once again you have gone to that love of yours whom you like and appreciate. You don't look at my face anytime. My friends are jealous of me after looking at my glowing face," said Sushama.
"How do you think the statement of friends is true? They must be telling formally and none will call you bad looking, which is a general courtesy," said Raghav.
"You can say this easily as all husbands fade up with old and nagging wives. They want to get rid of it but can't do it easily. So they don't look at their faces at all." was further added.
Raghav felt being dragged into discussion often started to end in bad temper and at times physical fights. In this country separation was a tedious process; otherwise he would have resorted to that.
He said, "I am tired and would like to have food and early sleep." He rushed to the bedroom and hurriedly entered the bathroom before he was dragged to another fighting session. His wife always exhausted her energy in long talks at the end of the day making the evening more tense and scornful.
