Raghav was excited and left the place. He might have lost temper after knowing so much from Sally. He doubted wife and may torture her. He was now determined to expose this net. Robert met him at the main gate of the complex and asked him to come back and have lunch. He was informed that the date was pronounced for hearing of his case and in absence they gave the next date after a month. Many advocates were astonished by your absence. Tea shop owner also asked and taunted your seriousness in case.
"No, I must go to look after Sunita who is not well. I will take lunch at home." Raghav declined the invitation.
"I will come to you shortly to discuss matters." He added hurriedly.
Sunita was still sleeping and took food after repeated requests from the maid. She was looking grave and worried.
"Madam is under shock. She utters something which I couldn't understand. Perhaps she has undergone torture and gets up in fits." Maid reported.
Raghav called a doctor to check who reported administration of heavy doses of drugs in drinks. She was admitted to hospital for five days for treatment. Raghav was more worried now fearing that a gang was after him and Rakesh could be the main player. He could know about him only from Sally who opened out about her own exploitation and which could be used to pressurize. He went straight to her house when Robert was in court.
"Robert is not home and you can see him in court only." She said.
"I have come to meet you. Can I have tea? I am very upset and tired." He went and stretched on a big settee.
Sally went inside the kitchen and Raghav followed her silently and watched. She added some powder in boiling water for tea before putting it in. She didn't put milk in and was waiting for it to boil. He caught from behind and pushed her aside. He picked up a bottle with white substance.
"What have you added to the tea?"
"This will remove tiredness and make you feel fresh instantly." Sally replied.
"You must also take this tea to get fresh and then we may enjoy it together." He proposed.
"No I can't. This will make me sick." She resisted.
The doorbell rang and she requested him to hide in her bedroom. The man came in and pulled her on a long sofa. She didn't say anything and asked him to drink the tea served before she would sleep with him. He took and in a short time was lying flat on the ground. She tried to go out and lock the room. Raghav moved quickly and caught and slapped hard. Sally had tears in eyes and looked for mercy. He couldn't sustain and softened and asked her to sit down.
"Will this man come to senses or die?" He questioned.
"He will be senseless for eight hours. Robert will be back from court and he shall decide what to do with him." She replied.
"Who is he?" He asked.
"He is a man from the Sarita Devi gang. He often comes to sleep with me and is a renowned crook and wanted in many criminal cases. Robert has been helping them to get protection, of course with handsome fees and helps Sarita Devi. He follows orders and can't say no." She said with pains visible in look.
"What is your status in this house?"
"I am kept by Robert. He married me without dowry and used me as a call girl from day one. Initially I resisted and he forced and asked me to sleep with several visitors. He was extracting huge amounts of money from each of them. He physically abused me at times on refusal to obey. All visitors and actions are recorded in cameras mounted in rooms at vulnerable locations. He blackmails them afterwards to get more money. Rakesh is also in camera which he uses to blackmail his father. He switches off the camera whenever he sleeps with me and threatens to get arrested if I try to run away. Fortunately you are not on camera which is switched off by me to protect the privacy of friends."
Raghav thought and asked, "Was the camera working on that day when Sunita was attacked by Rakesh?" He further enquired.
"No, because that day I invited friends for a party. Robert allowed this so that society is not aware of activities and I am accepted as his wife."
"You are sensible. Can you tell some more details about Rakesh?" He asked.
