"My name is Aaron, and I will be your teacher for a few days... . As advised, I shall tell you kids my ability," said the man, standing at the back of the massive hall, as he placed his hand on his katana's hilt, "I do not have an ability. Well, technically speaking, I do have an ability, but it is so weak that it is much better if I don't use it, and preserve my stamina. Due to my incompatibility with my ability, I use Ki to strengthen my battle prowess".
'So he was the teacher. I wonder how strong he is,' Quinn thought as he eyed the instructor.
'And Ki... I remember it being advertised a while back. It looked pretty cool; the guy advertising it was fucking flying afterall-.'
"Your first task is to choose your weapon from either side of the training hall, where there are a multitude of weapons, each kept in top-notch condition" Aaron said as he treaded towards the students, "Take your time and see which one best suits your fighting style. Remember... pick your weapon carefully, as your life will depend on it when you can't use your ability"
The students then rushed to the weapons. Quinn heard a few of the students praising Aaron's worth in a multitude of worlds.
It was pretty called for, to be honest. The military wouldn't just hire a nobody to teach the kids, it had to be a professional or someone who has multiple achievements.

There were all type of weapons on the wall like scythes, axes, spiked clubs, gauntlets, bows, tonfas, even a damn Kusarigama. Quinn was browsing all of them and feeling them in his hands 'I already have a weapon though... and one that suits me' he thought, 'I'll take a dagger I guess'.
"Are you planning on trying out new weapons or you are replacing your current ones?" Aaron suddenly appeared behind Quinn and asked.
"Uh, no, I'm not planning on replacing these... . Is there by any chance, a rule about not using a weapon along with gauntlets while training?" Quinn put forth his query, worrying that he won't be able to practise both of his weapon skills in this class.
"Yes, there is one," Aaron replied with a tad smile, "But, worry not, you can still train any weapon you like. There isn't a rule which won't allow you to switch to another weapon, after all."
With the answer he got, Quinn was very happy. 'This would be a good opportunity to try out the Inspect skill,' Quinn thought as he saw Aaron leaving, 'If it works, that is... .' He placed his gauntlets in his storage and picked up one of the daggers on the wall and used the skill on it.

Fanged Morg Dagger
F-Rank
Strength +5

Quinn was pleased to see that the system also told him the stat boosts that the weapon gives him. He then went ahead and inspected all of the daggers present in the weapon hall and finally found the best one.
———
Blood-starved Saber's dagger
F-Rank magical weapon
Strength +9
A weapon made with the magic crystal and fangs of the Blood-starved Saber which are considered to be very tough and sharp. Almost 30% as tough as Mythril.

Quinn had decided on this dagger primarily because of it's big Strength boost. 'A boost of 9 in strength! I still remember the time that I realized how fast I became after the Assassin class boost'.
But for a dagger which is supposed to be really short, this one was quite long. It was mostly black in color with the blood dyed edges which matched his gauntlets and the handle was also, much like the blade, quite long, and a good fit for Quinn.
After more than half an hour, the students went back to their positions, in front of their teacher.
"I hope you all are satisfied with the weapons you chose. Obviously, these are only basic-tier weapons," Aaron said as he was going to start explaining what the students were supposed to do. "As for the first lesson, it won't be tough. I want to see what you've got, so let's begin with a sparring match. Are there any volunteers?".
No sooner did he ask for volunteers, Quinn could see a hand that was just shot up, it was Luna and some other girl. 'Of course... .'
"I forgot to add this, but you can't use your Abilities in my class for today. You will solely focus on your weapon techniques," Aaron said, as the two girls got up on the fighting ring.
"So, are the both of you ready?" he asked the both of them; the students simply nodded.
"Then... BEGIN!" his voice boomed across the magic weapon training hall.
Both of them kicked off from their positions as they drew their weapons. Luna held a long sword, heavy enough to be classified as a claymore, while the other student held a whip. Cheers erupted from the remaining crowd of students, all of them supporting either one of the students fighting or the other.
Most of the ability users would be helpless without their abilities and this was why the magic weapon class existed: to help people protect themselves from harm without the need for an Ability.
Luna's opponent swung her whip; it looked fast and strong, as if it could break a bone or two easily if it were to hit someone. Luna blocked it as she flexed her sword beneath, but the long whip wound around the sword, and continued to move and hit her shin which caused Luna to stumble and fall down to her knee.
"You can forfeit if you want, there is no shame. It was just that your opponent was too strong for your, huhu," said the student holding the whip with a smile on her face which almost looked sadistic. "Step on me-!" a voice shouted from the crowd.
'Fucking hell... .'
"Heh, like hell I will" Luna replied. The whip was swung once more, "Then I'll beat you into surrendering!" she shouted.
As the whip was moving forward, Luna ducked and sprinted towards her opponent. She kicked her leg with much force behind it, causing her opponent to lose balance and fall down on her back.
Luna stood over her and pointed her sword at her throat.
"The match is over! The winner is Luna" Aaron declared.
