Chapter 1 - Purple

It was sudden. One moment she was having the time of her life, the next she was being dragged from the crowd and blacked out. When Emille woke up she was chained up in a dark room. She let out a soft groan as she came to. Her head was pounding, probably an after effect of what knockout drug they gave her.

Her thoughts were silent as she attempted to move and stretch. It was then that she noticed the chains on her hands, neck, and feet. Twisting her neck slightly Emille could feel that they removed her earrings, at least just the dangly ones. Unlike normal women, Emille didn't call out for help or to see if anyone was around. She just waited quietly. In the dark. All by herself.

She doesn't know when but somehow she fell asleep. Emille only woke up when she sensed someone approaching. There must have been a light shining somewhere because the darkness wasn't as complete and impenetrable as it was before. There were some shuffling and whispers in the air before Emille heard the sound of what she assumed was a door opening.

It was loud and abrasive. Probably like the treatment she was about to receive. Emille tensed as she felt the movement in the air along with the approaching body heat. Her eyes were closed while she braced herself. And sure enough, a bright light shone directly into her closed eyes. Had her eyes been open Emille would felt a stinging pain and her mind would have been influenced. Only when the light was aimed at the floor did she open her eyes.

As per usual in the hazy lighting all she saw was purple.
