Mum looks at her with fury, rage, antipathy, and loathing authored all over her face. She looks like she could swallow her without chewing at all. This is the most serious scene I have seen mum in ever since I was born. I know a few hours ago, she seemed serious, but this one is actually the most. Her eyes fly to the king, the elders and later on to us. She smiles at me. To anyone who doesn't know her, the smile is real, but to me, it isn't. Then she speaks. ''Listen, Irina, I called you Irina because you are a true queen. You see, this woman here decided to throw you away just because you were a girl, but I brought you in because I didn't care whether you were a girl or not, all I wanted was a baby to replace my own flesh and blood.'' She explains painfully.
