While Teren was still pondering on how far Trisha had planned regarding this, she suddenly leaned forward, pushing her lips against his.
This momentarily shocked Teren but the kiss didn't last long.
Trisha separated herself with a shake of her head.
"But the problem is, I don't feel anything. It seemed that romance between us is still far away. But that's not a bad thing, isn't it? It would be weird if I feel something while we're still not 'finished'."
"Romance? Didn't I just tell you earlier about Iesa?" Teren spoke, clearly unaffected by the kiss earlier.
"Yeah, I know, I didn't forget that or anything. But that girl clearly doesn't like you. Are you going to force her?"
Trisha spoke as if she was sure of it.
"But I'm intrigued by the fact that you still love her even after she literally backstabbed you! Just how important are emotions to you?"
She didn't know but she was hitting some bullseye there.
