It was only when they went through the first danger which was a metallic wires net, and they passed through it without even the slightest problem or resistance that he understood what was going on.
Apparently, these traps seemed to be nothing more than illusions. Or so one would think at first, because the next one was some kind of fire whip that landed on different intervals, and it didn't look like one.
Even Amelia told him through her eyes, but even with a whisper,

Roy had already thought the same, as he hadn't relaxed his guard even for a moment, so he could quickly dodge the incoming whip without much of a problem.
