Chapter 3 - Chapter three

[ As a representative of all those who understood their duty to Bharat and fought to free it, Rudra is presented here after realising his duty. ]

'Revenge' a thing that brings disturbance and satisfaction together. In animal kingdom tigers are the most vengeful creatures of all. It traces its enemy, waits, lurking in the shadow and the moment it gets a chance it takes it. It takes its revenge and brings justice upon those who wronged it. Itihas of ancient Bharat still carries with it the oldest story of vengeance and justice. The story of Jay the story of Mahabharat.

Rudra was in a state of confusion not being able to think what he should do. He sat down with Geeta in his hand. Another great thing being passed down to us through generations. A book that is said to have answer to ones every problem and yet the only answer we take for is the one we need. Rudra's answer was right in front of him all this time. It was to fulfill his duty as the guardian of his village. And follow his dharma as a Thakur.

"Ganga!" he called for his wife and looked straight into her eyes then continued" I am going to join the rebellion with the others. If I don't return then the responsibility to free the village will fall upon you."

"I Shall accompany you in your fight against them." she replied boldly. "No Ganga, u must stay back and take care of things here. I can't let you go to the front line while I am still breathing" he tried to explain. "Do you think I will not be able to fight? Am I just deadweight on your shoulders?" She said with a painful voice. "The time when girls could fight on the front line ended with the Turkish invaders. You know it very well that they have no humanity. I can't let you take part in it" He explained again "I am your wife. We are one how will you fight if you leave half of you behind?" She said as she wiped tears off of her eyes. "I'll come for you. After me, you must lead the woman to fight against the enemy" He said to her.

Rudra's plan was to use guerrilla war tactics and take back his village when other zamindars will revolt. 'War is never fought on only one front' this line is true both metaphorically and latterly. We fight our war in our minds and in our loved ones' hearts before the battle is fought on the field. During wartime, the armies fight against the valor of soldiers and the intelligence of commanders on every front, and it is the doctors who are fight to keep odds against death.

Rudra left Ganga in care of the village head. Against a troop of inhuman soldiers with guns, he had only about 50 men armed with sticks and stones and himself.

On the other hand, Fateh Bahadur Sahi had gathered about twenty thousand people to revolt with him and attack the offices of white. Company had sensed the smell of rebellion and so they were on their guards.

We as humans can only decide where to throw a stone and when to throw it. It's effect on the lake is out of our control. We can't stop the ripples. and just like that we can't change the karmic laws...
